Chapter 16

Harry's P.O.V

Oh no I was just getting away with it.  This is kind of a bad thing to say but at this moment I wish Katie took just a couple more minutes in the restroom so I could do this.  

Katie whispers in my ear, "did you get the deal?"

"Yes." I tell her and turn around.

She wraps her arms around my back into a warm hug with the puppy resting on her shoulder.  I put my arms around her back as well.  This feels so great I never want this to end.  

While we are still hugging she whispers something "thank you Harry.  I love you"

I whisper back "I love you too"

We eventually let go of each other and I had to think of something to do because I still had to give the lady the $250 without Katie knowing.  Then I had an idea.  Something to stall Katie. But it wouldn't hold her off for long. 

"Katie, won't you go pick out some toys for the little girl." I say to her in a question form

"Alright." she squealed and walked away to the toy aisle. 

So my plan back fired but that's okay because in the end it all worked out.  

I hand the lady seven 100 dollar bills and one 50 dollar bill.  

"She's all yours." The lady said to me

"Great"  I say and walk away with the puppy in my arms.  

I walk to find Katie in the toy aisle.  And sure enough she is there looking at the rubber squeaky toys.  

Katie's P.O.V.

As soon as I see I run up to him and grab the puppy right out of his hands.  I know it is kind of rude but I was just so excited to finally hold her and be able to say that she was mine.
