Friends, Maybe More

Chapter 27

I looked on the floor and there was rose petals on the floor stating, "will you go on a date with me tomorrow night? xoxo Harry"

Oh my, that is the sweetest thing ever.

"Of course I would" I squealed and I gave Harry a quick kiss on the lips

"And Katie, no matter where you go now I will be coming with you because I can't let you slip away from me like that." He said very sympathetically.

"I won't leave you ever again" I ran to him and gave him a huge hug

We walked outside to go get the grocery bags from my car and brought them back inside and put them where the food needed to be.

*20 minutes later*

I'm in the kitchen making the salmon for dinner while Harry has Lily and they are watching tv.

*Another 20 minutes*

Harry is setting the table while I am plating the salmon and vegetables.

I walk over to put the plates down and Harry pulls out my chair so I can sit down it.

"Harry you really are special." I say to him

"In a good way or a bad way?" He asks

"Good"

"Good"

"It was so sweet that you actually took time to spell out those words for me."

"It was fun."

We finished dinner quite quickly and it was really good.  And Harry told me that he fed Lily while I was gone which was gone because it was already 9:37.

"Wanna watch another movie?"

"Yeah sure.  What do you want to watch now?"

"How bout the Titanic? I haven't seen that in a while"

"Alright that's fine.  I love that movie"

We finished the movie and it was 11:43 and I was pretty tired.

I texted my dad and said that I would be staying with Alexis the rest of the weekend and he replied with "alright Katie. Stay safe and have fun"

"Harry I'm tired I'm going to go to bed now."

"Alright love I'll be up in a couple minutes."

"K" I replied as I walked up the stairs and into Harry's room.

I got ready pretty quickly and turned on Harry's tv and jumped in his bed and before I knew it I was fast asleep.

I wake up and look at the clock on the wall and it reads 9:26.  I look over to my right and see that Harry is still in bed sound asleep. 

I get up and walk down stairs with Lily in my hands.

I put Lily's leash on and walk outside so she can "go."

We get back inside and she lays down in the corner of the room.

I go get her food and pour some of it in her bowl.  And she comes running my way to eat her food.

I walk to the refrigerator and grab the eggs, butter, and cheese.

I turn the stove on and put some butter in the pan.

I walk to one of the cabinet's and grab some whole wheat bread and put it in the toaster.

I finish making the omelet for Harry in about 5 minutes and grab the toast and put it on the plate.

I walk over to the table and set his down.  I can hear Harry's footsteps coming down the stairs.  Just in time

"Good morning babe"  He says to me and walks over to me and gives me a quick kiss on my forehead

"Right this way" I say pointing to the table

"Thanks Katie"

We finish quickly and I tell Harry that I want to go to home depot and home goods to get some flowers and some decorations for your house.

"Okay but I'm coming"

We get back and we grab the bags and put them inside.

I got a bunch of flowers so I went and jogged upstairs and put on a t-shirt and shorts to go plant them outside.

I grab all of the flowers and walk out the front door.  With Harry following me.

He sits down on the porch while he watches me plant all of the flowers in the bed of mulch.

When we get back inside I tell Harry that I just want to relax until our date tonight.

He agrees and we watch some tv and eat lunch for the rest of the day.  Then 5:00 came along.
