Chapter 28

I went upstairs to get ready for our date tonight.

I wanted to shower so I could sprunch my hair and put a clip in it.

Once I got out of the shower I wrapped a towel around my hair and one around my body and walked out of the door.

I went to my bag and picked out my blue dress which was a razorback and put that on.  Then I walked to the bathroom, took down my hair, and sprunched up my hair and then put a clip in it which pulled back the center piece of my hair.

Then I got my makeup bag out and put on some mascara, eyeshawdow, eyeliner, primer, foundation, concealer, and then I filled in my eyebrows.

I finished up my makeup and walked to the closet where I put my shoes in.  I picked up some plain black heels and then Harry walked in.

He got ready while I fed Lily, took her out, then put her in her crate because we were about to leave.

We walked to the garage and Harry and I got in the car and backed out of the garage.

When we got home it was 9:00 on the dot and we have school tomorrow so I need to get a good rest because I had to make up that test that I missed on Friday.

I walked up the stairs with Lily in my hand and got ready for bed.

I woke up the next morning feeling great.  I was confident that I was going to do pretty well on my test today.

When I got home from school I went back to Harry's house to pack up my stuff because I promised my dad that I would be home today.

"Wait Katie I want to come with you.  To meet your dad."

"Okay sure." I replied.  I was pretty excited that he asked that.

We pulled into my driveway and Harry grabbed my bags out of the trunk and we walked up to the front door.  I had Lily draped over my shoulder so I was pretty anxious to see how my dad was going to react to my new puppy.

I grabbed my keys out of my purse and unlocked the door.

I walked in my house and Harry set my bags on the chair in the corner of the family room and there my dad was sitting on the couch.

"Katie who is the world is this and what is that dog doing with you?"  He asked very forcefully

Harry walked over to where my dad was sitting.

"Hello Mr. Smith how are you?  I'm Harry Styles."

"What are you doing with my daughter?"

I decided that I should probably step in and take charge.

"Dad, Harry is my boyfriend.  He is a great guy and I really hope you like him."

"Katie what about this dog that you have?"

"Harry bought me this dog.  I have money saved up so I can pay for her needs.  Her name is Lily."

"So did you really stay the weekend with Alexis or were you with Harry?"

"I was with Harry but I had the most fun I have had in a while.  Please let me be with him and once you get to know him you will really like him."

"Okay, okay, and okay.  I like him.  But this dog is all your responsibility."

"Yes of course thank you" I said and I gave him a hug.

Harry and I walked to the door and I gave him a quick kiss and he walked outside and drove his car away.

I realized that I left my car there but I'll be able to get it back later.
