Friends, Maybe More

Chapter 44

Gemma was on that plane.  Gemma was on that plane.  Those words played into my head so many times.  Harry's face had such an awful look on his face I hope I never see it again.

"The hospital many of these of these patients are in Iceland and in the hospital right by the ocean on the east side."

"Harry call Gemma now.  If she doesn't pick up we are getting on a plane tonight."

Harry immediately picked up his phone and dialed Gemma's number.  He still hasn't said anything since that came on the tv.  He was still shocked.

*A couple minutes later*

She didn't pick up

Harry and I both started crying so hard it was like a waterfall was coming out from our eyes.

I got onto my laptop and got us both tickets to fly to Iceland tonight to go see Gemma.  The tickets were really expensive but Harry has done a lot for me and stuck by my through a lot so I wasn't going to make him pay me back.

I don't know how long we will be there but we will have to call the school and tell them we will be gone for a while.  We are both going to miss a lot of school work so we will have to really bust our butts to get all of the work back when we get back.

I quickly packed my bags and I packed a lot of stuff because I have no idea how long we are going to stay there.

After I got everything situated we both got into the car and I grabbed Lily too because we have to drop her off at a kennel.

I dropped Harry off at his house because he needed to pack.

Then I went and dropped Lily off at the kennel and back to Harry's.

"Ma'am may I see your passport?" One of the security people asked me.

I handed him my passport and he looked through it and gave it back to me.

I walked forward and I could hear the officer asking Harry the same question.

I emptied my pockets and put my carry on bag into one of the bins to go through security.

Harry did the same and luckily the didn't catch something like my little perfume bottle I put in there because it was one ounce over the limit.

***

Harry and I got pass all of the security and we had 30 minutes until we boarded our plane.  We bought a salad and some waters.

We were both hungry because it's past 8:00 and that's quite late for a dinner.  We finished our salads fast and just sat and talked until the lady called our area of the plane to start boarding.  

Harry grabbed his bags and I grabbed mine.  Then we both boarded the plane.
