Friends, Maybe More

Chapter 34

On the way home it was complete silence.  Except for the music playing on the radio and this band called 'One Direction' came on and I have never heard of them but they seemed alright.

Harry pulled into my driveway and before I got out of the car I looked at him and I wanted to ask him something but I didn't know how to say it.

"Harry, will you sleep here tonight I feel so alone now."

"Of course Katie, I'll drive home and pack some stuff up for a couple days and I'll come back as soon as I'm done."

"Thanks, so much Harry."  I gave him a quick kiss and got out of the car.

I walked into the house and got Lily her food and started dinner.

I decided to make a simple salad with a vinaigrette dressing.

I grabbed the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, and olives.  I know that's a pretty weird combination but it's my favorite salad.

I mixed up the salad and set it on the counter. 

I set the table with flowers in the middle of the table and got us some red wine.  I like red wine better and I'm hoping Harry does too.

I put the salad on the plates and then the doorbell rings and I'm expecting Harry and only Harry but when I open the door I see Harry but he has someone with him.  And it's a girl.
