Chapter 25

We got into the car and drove to the restaurant.  Lunch was so yummy I loved that place.

We got back to Harry's house and I told him I was going on a nice long walk with Lily and he said that he would come with.

We walked about two miles then walked back to Harry's house and we talked the whole way just asking stuff like how long have you liked me and he asked me to just imagine if I didn't pick up my phone and tell him that I wouldn't go with him yesterday.

It was a nice walk and before I knew it we were back at Harry's house sitting on the couch watching tv, with Lily on my lap.

We finished the show and it was already 5:00.  Where has the time gone by?  I decided that I should make dinner so I got up from the couch and looked in the pantry, freezer, and refrigerator, nothing. There was nothing that I could do with any of the ingredients to make a nice meal so I think I'm going to go to the grocery store to get some stuff for Harry.  I mean he has spent a lot on me today and yesterday so this shopping trip was on me.

I asked Harry if he wanted to come and he said he would rather not.  And I respect that he wants to stay home and just relax so I didn't do anything to try to persuade him to come with me.

"Katie just take my wallet it's on the counter."  He said as he pointed to the direction with the wallet on the counter.

"No, Harry that's okay you have spent a lot on me in these past two days.  I want to go do this for you." I said with a smile on my face hoping he wouldn't try to persuade me to get his wallet.

"Thanks Katie"

Yeah the smile worked.

"Hey Harry can you watch Lily while I'm gone?"  I asked him

"Yes of course she can come and sit with me on my lap while I'm watching tv."

I didn't say anything but I flashed him a smile as I walked over to where he was sitting and put Lily on his lap.

I walked over to go get my purse which had my phone, my wallet, and my keys in there.  

I started walking to the door and Harry started to say something.

"Please don't take too long."

"I won't."

I got in my car and started the engine and pulled out of Harry's driveway.

When I got to the grocery store I thought that I could make some teriyaki salmon for dinner tonight.

I picked up some other things and got a couple things for myself.

As I was loading the bags in my car a strange car pulled up.

"Hey beautiful come get in the car with me."  

Oh my gosh what should I do?  I'm so scared but without thinking too much I shut my trunk and ran to my car and got in.   I locked the car doors and started the engine. 

I looked back making sure that the car was gone so I wouldn't hit it backing out and luckily it was.  

I heard a bang on my passenger window and the man was standing right there!

Again without thinking I pulled out of my parking spot and I heard the man scream so I guess I ran over his foot but that didn't stop me.  I kept backing up then drove off.

I looked back and the car was right behind me, following me!
