Friends, Maybe More

Chapter 53

"Gemma is recovering very well."  The doctor said as he shut the door and turned around to face us.

Oh thank god.  Everyone let out sighs in relief.  

We sat in Gemma's room for a bit longer talking to Harry's step dad and mum.

As we are walking out I bump into someone.  I turn around to see who it was and it was Harry's so called ex girlfriend.

"Oh my goodness!  Hello Harry! How have you been?"  This 'ex girlfriend' said.

"Um I'm alright but I really can't talk.  Maybe I'll see you the next time we are here at the hospital" Harry responded.

Harry grabbed by hand and started walking towards the exit.  We heard her calling back to us saying, "Yeah, catch up with you later."  I turned around and saw her waving to me.

That was a bit odd how friendly she was but I just brushed it off and thought it was okay.

Harry had said that he would take me out for dinner tonight.  So as of now I'm getting ready.  And he said dress nice because it's quite a fancy restaurant.

We walk out to the car together and I feel like I'm being watched and I look behind me and I see that the bush just moved.  I walk over to the bush and nothing was there.  Kinda weird but whatever I'm not going to let the Little Things get in our way of tonight.
