Yugi VS Pegasus: The Match Of The Millennium Part 2!

"It's my turn, first I'll place this card face down then I'll put Summoned Skull in defense mode and leave it at that" I said. "Goodie now it's my turn again. I'm switching Ryu-Ran to attack mode. Ryu-Ran fire stream attack" Pegasus demanded but now he's activated my trap card! "I activate Spell Binding circle! My trap has stopped your attack and that's not all. It also binds Ryu-Ran in a binding circle of magic and reduces its attack power by 700 points!" That's the first bit of luck I've had so far but I have a feeling Pegasus has a plan there's no way he'd make it easy for me and he already knows every card I have in my hand! What is he planning this time? "Now with my Summoned Skull poised for attack and with my Spell binding circle in full effect Ru-Ran will be struck down! Go lightning strike attack!" But Pegasus had a trap of his own "it's called Trap displacement and with it I can place the binding circle that you've placed on my monsters and place it on your own!" Pegasus laughed Ryu-Ran was back to full power and Summoned Skull was 700 points weaker, Ryu-Ran attacked again destroying my monster and leaving me with 1400 Life Points. He knows every strategy I think of, I can't hide anything from his eye!

Seto's P.O.V.

"You're surrounded now hand over the kid" one of the guards demanded. "You'll have to go through me first" I said challenging them "lay a finger on that boy and you will curse the day you imbeciles were ever born!" Someone threatened, it was that brat Bakura. "Bakura get out of here!" Tristan told him "step out of the shadows or else" a guard threatened "or else what? You pathetic little worm" he chuckled "I warned ya" one of them said before they got out their guns "yes and now I am warning you. Don't trifle with me, chain energy!" Bakura said before getting out the actual spell card, there was a bright light and when it disappeared the guards were all tied up, he was able to bring the effects of that card to life! "Now is our chance to escape" he said to us and we all ran away from the guards, this guy better know what he's doing we have Mokuba but we still have to find Y/N no matter the cost!

Yugi's P.O.V.

"My turn Yugi boy" Pegasus said as he drew another card. I'm sure it's another perfectly prepared move, if I'm going to win I have to find away to prevent his Millennium eye from reading my thoughts! "Fat chance! Nothing you do can stop it, face it Yugi you're at the mercy of my Millennium eye!" Pegasus taunted "don't you see? I already know every card you have in your deck and have in my possession every card needed to defeat it. I can see every strategy your mind has concocted and have already designed my own counter attacks to render them completely useless! But even without my Millennium magic you are no match for me after all who needs magic with this card? Perhaps you'll remember it, it's the magical Toon World!" He said happily before placing the card down and activating it, the book appeared on the field after Pegasus sacrificed 1000 life points. His two monsters disappeared into the book safe from any and all attacks, the two monsters returned to the field in their Toon forms, Toon-Ryu-Ran attacked and destroyed my giant soldier of stone leaving me with no defence. "Looks like your giant soldier of stone couldn't stand the heat" Pegasus joked, Toon Ryu-Ran jumped back to Pegasus' side of the field with that creepy smile of his.

"Aren't my Toons marvelous? I can't help but feel the same satisfaction a parent would I guess that's my reward for creating the card" he laughed. That cheat, that card is one of a kind. It was thought too powerful for distribution that's how he was able to beat Kaiba with it! He switched Toon Red Archery girl back into attack position and ended his turn, I drew a card maybe the only chance I have is to play the offensive that way I might be able to pick out a weakness. "Celtic Guardian in attack mode!" I said as the monster appeared in the field. With both the Archery girl and my Celtic guardian at 1400 points both monsters should be destroyed when I attack "attack with silver blade slash" I requested but the clam she was in caught the attack! "I'm afraid you're going to have to accept the reality of the situation. Your Guardian is the catch of the day and if there's one thing I love besides winning it's a fish fry!" He joked before destroying my Guardian. What can I do? Attacking is useless! Pegasus' eye gives access to whatever's in my mind how can I possibly win this duel? Pegasus placed two face down cards on the field and did nothing more leaving me with more to worry about. "It's my move now, I place a monster in defense mode" I stated "I knew you would Yugi boy after all that's why I put this card face down. Behold the trap known as Gorgon's eye, any monster you place in defense mode is turned to stone!" He informed me as my own imp turned to stone "every time I defeat one of your monsters which have turned into stone half of their defense points will be taken from your life points" he added.

He then activated his second face down card Dopple ganger the copy card. He used this card on Kaiba "correct Yugi boy. This little rascal can transform himself into any card on the field that I want. Beg your pardon any card that he wants, so what will it be this time Dopple ganger?" Pegasus asked the monster which then started whispering to him? "Perfect! You always have the best ideas" he complimented the card this is so weird. "Well Yugi boy it seems he'd like to turn into that Summoned Skull I defeated a few turns ago" he said "it's in my graveyard" I replied how can he use a monster card that's been destroyed? "Your graveyard is still on the field so it's fair game for my Dopple ganger here. Go my furry friend!" Pegasus said before the card returned to the field and turned into the Summoned Skull! But Summoned Skull was then transformed into Toon Summoned Skull before attacking my Stone Imp leaving me with 900 Life Points. The magic of Toon world makes it impossible to destroy those monsters! I drew the Dark Magician from my deck. My favourite card I bet Pegasus can't wait to get a shot at it.

Seto's P.O.V

We were running up another stair case, this stupid castle is like a maze and all the doors we've come across are locked. Tristan almost fell to his death when he ran out of a door which led outside and was a 50 feet drop. Unfortunately, that creep Bakura saved him. "We're running out of time and places to run, don't think I'll stick around if you two get into trouble" I warned them before more guards headed our way "well we tried" Tristan sighed "we are not captured just yet" that creep chuckled before taking out his Duel Monsters deck. What the heck does he plan on doing with that useless pile of garbage?

Yugi's P.O.V.

I don't know what to do. I can't attack the Toon monsters whilst they're in that book and any defense I set up is turned to stone, it all seems so hopeless. "It certainly does, oh sorry was I intruding a private conversation? I really must learn not to keep butting into other people's business after all accepting defeat is such a personal matter" he laughed "don't listen to him Yuge! Remember what's at stake here, your grandpa, Y/N and Mokuba" Joey shouted down to me "they're all counting on you Yugi and we know you're going to come through for all of them! You can do it we believe in you!" Téa assured me. Joey and Téa are right I just have to remember what I'm fighting for here. To save the souls of my Grandpa, Y/N and Mokuba, I can't let them down! If I give up hope now I'll lose those three forever, their souls will remain trapped in the Shadow realm and Pegasus will be free to continue his evil ways with no one to stop him! I can't let that happen, I can't give up. As hopeless as it seems I have to keep battling, I will save my friends!
