Yugi VS Pegasus: The Match Of The Millennium Part 3!

"Your turn Yugi boy but what's a poor duelist to do? If you throw your monsters down in defense mode I'll fossilise them and if you throw them in attack I'll destroy them" Pegasus bragged. He's right I'm trapped unless...Maybe this combo works. "I summon the Dark Magician in attack mode and I also protect him with the Magical hats!" The hats appeared and concealed my Magician from Pegasus. "Ah I see, with your feeble attempt to hide your Dark Magician you're hoping to stall and find a way to overcome my Toon world but it won't work. Don't get it? You're not capable of concealing your secrets from me and those secrets will tell me where your Magician hides or did you forget the power of my Millennium eye?" Pegasus questioned but what else can I do? If he reads my mind he'll know where the Dark Magician is I'm finished! There has to be a way I can stop him, there has to be! "Yugi! Come on stay with it man!" Joey shouted "I know Pegasus has magic but so do you! The magic of your Millennium Puzzle!" Téa told me that's it! I do have my own magic! The magic that merges me with the spirit of the Millennium puzzle!

"Spirit listen to me!" Yugi called out "I can feel Pegasus trying to claw at our minds again I can't keep him out!" I told him "I know but I have an idea. My Grandpa told me that if I wanted to defeat Pegasus I'd have to harness the power of my Millennium puzzle. I thought he meant that I should merge with you like we usually do and together we would be triumphant but now I think I was wrong, Grandpa said to trust within the power or my Millennium puzzle he never said anything about you. "What are you saying Yugi?" I asked "if we're to have any chance of beating Pegasus I'm afraid I'm going to have to banish you from the corridors of my mind" he told me "if we don't work together we won't have a chance" I replied. "Maybe not but if we keep playing like we have we'll lose" he added "what do you mean?" I questioned "listen just hear me out. We're losing because Pegasus can read our mind because we're working so close together, that's the wrong strategy for us to be using in this particular game. If we keep dueling with our spirits merged Pegasus will beat and if we lose everyone loses but I have an idea" he said "well it better be a good one, many lives depend on us" I pointed out. "I know but I think it will work I think it will allow us to stop Pegasus from reading our thoughts. Each time we play a card Pegasus reads our mind but what if we keep our minds separate? And then switch our minds back and forth" he explained "a dangerous move but it might just work" I said. We both agreed on the plan and I switched places with Yugi.

No One's P.O.V.

Pegasus used Toon Summoned Skull to attack the hat on the far left but Yugi's points didn't go down and the Dark Magician was still on the field! "Maybe you probed the wrong mind Pegasus, one who doesn't know where the Dark Magician hides or maybe your mind power aren't as all seeing as you think!" Yugi told Pegasus "you dare mock the awesome powers of my Millennium eye? You go too far Yugi boy" Pegasus retorted "you gained nothing from that attack Pegasus even with your magic you won't be able to win. Because you're not the only Duelist with a Millennium item! Now let's see how well your Millennium eye matches up to my Millennium puzzle! I place one card face down and end my turn. Do you know which card it is? Just use your Millennium eye to read my mind that is if you think you can" Yugi challenged "no problem, you can hide nothing from me" Pegasus replied before trying to use his eye but he couldn't see what the card was and Yugi had switched back with the spirit. "Sorry Pegasus but I don't know what this face down card is either reading my mind will tell you absolutely nothing. You see I don't what that card is because I am no longer Yugi Muto but someone else all together. With the power of the Millennium Puzzle, two minds inhabit this body and each time you try to read one of our minds we'll use the mind shuffle" the spirit of the puzzle announced proudly.

Seto's P.O.V.

"It's over give us back the prisoner and we might still let you leave in one piece" a guard threatened "if you want Mokuba back then you'll have to go through me to get him!" I snapped "you ignorant mortals, it's far from over and I have barely even begun to play, I'll show you the fate the cards have dealt you. Now I will show you fools the full meaning of fear as I summon the man eater bug" the freak chuckled before that weird necklace of his started glowing and the man eater bug appeared out of no where! There were no hologram devices any where so where the hell did it come from? "Terrorizing these present day humans is so much fun don't you think?" He asked "no I don't then again I'm a present day human what the hell are you?" Taylor questioned "me? Someone with great power soon to be greater but I can't spend all day having fun I have things to do" he chuckled before using a morphing jar making the guards vanish "look I don't care what you're doing but if we're done then let's going. Hanging around you idiots is starting to give me a headache" I said before walking down the stairs with Mokuba on my back. "As you know Tristan, Yugi banished me to the graveyard which wouldn't have happened if Bakura hadn't betrayed me. I need a new host one with out a soul or mind of it's own" the freak told us. Mokuba he wants Mokuba. "If you think I'll let you lay hands on my little brother then you're dead wrong so back off freak" I growled. "Turn him over or you both shall share the same fate as those guards" he chuckled.

Back to the Duel

"So still trying to read my mind Pegasus? Go right ahead" the spirit of the puzzle dared "no thanks Yugi boy. My mind reading abilities are only one of the many skills I possess and that you need to worry about or have you forgotten who invented this game? Besides I can sense that you are ready to switch minds again so instead of wasting both our times let's move on shall we? You've still no defense against my Toon monsters and it's only a matter of time until I find which hat hides your Dark Magician" Pegasus chuckled. "Then pick a hat then we'll see how good your mastery of Duel Monsters really is but I think you've relied on the magic of your Millennium eye for so long your dueling skills have diminished" Spirit theorised "even if your little theory was true, I'm still a far superior Duelist then you" Pegasus laughed. "Toon Summoned Skull attack the middle hat" he said to his monster before the hat in question was destroyed but no Dark Magician. "What a shame Pegasus, another turn wasted and for my next turn a quick change is in order" Spirit said before switching with Yugi. Yugi drew the living arrow card and placed it on the field before switching back with the spirit, their mind shuffle technique was working! Pegasus then used Magical Neutralizing Force which destroyed the Magical hats revealing the Dark Magician!

"Toon Summoned Skull devastate his Magician!" Pegasus laughed before the two switched again "I defend my Magician with the living arrow card I placed down earlier! I can use it to fuse with any magic card I want and I'll use it with your Magical Neutralizing Force card to destroy Toon world! But I'm not finished, I activate Mirror Force to deflect your attack at your own Monsters who are back in their original forms and are no longer protected by your Toon world!" Yugi announced leaving Pegasus with no Monsters left on the field and Yugi's Dark Magician still standing. "It's impossible I can't believe you've destroyed all my beloved Toons! No, no, no, no! This is a nightmare, a bad dream this can't truly be happening!" Pegasus cried "we did it! All the Toon Monsters are destroyed!" Yugi said happily. "Yugi, I'm impressed. When I first met you, you were just another boy who showed some faint Duelist promise but with my gentle guidance well just look at you now! You're one step away from coming world champion, you've been to the Shadow Realm and back and most importantly, you've started to master the power of your Millennium Puzzle! You see Yugi boy for me, that's what this whole tournament has been about! For I plan to take possession of your Puzzle! You and I will finish this contest in the Shadow Realm Yugi!" Pegasus laughed before using his Millennium eye and so the Match Of The Millennium was to finish in the Realm of Shadows!
