Yugi VS Pegasus: The Match Of The Millennium Part 4!

Seto's P.O.V.

"So what will it be mortals? Will you hand Mokuba over willingly or do I have to conjure something up to consume your souls?" The freak asked "like I just said you're not getting your hands on my brother so do me a favour and get lost freak" I growled "I have the power to back up my threats I won't ask again" he chuckled "you get your power from that thing, the Millennium ring" Taylor pointed out "yes that's right the ring doesn't just allow me to control your pathetic friend Bakura it gives me many other magical abilities as well so unless you want a more personal demonstration of my power you will stop resisting me" the freak said sternly, I looked at Taylor and we both nodded. "Here but you better think fast" I said before throwing Mokuba at the freak, when he caught him Taylor attacked him and knocked him out and caught Mokuba. I took him back and Taylor threw that weird necklace outside as hard as he could, he then carried his unconscious friend and we headed back to the other losers but I'll find Y/N I know I will. We got back and placed the two near the railings so they were balancing against it "I'm going to find Y/N. I'll be back later" I said before I started walking off "you're kidding right? They know we took Mokuba the security is gonna be tighter then ever. Even if we all went there's no way we'd come back in one piece and besides we've just searched the dungeons top to bottom and we didn't see her there" Taylor argued "well then what am I supposed to do?! The only reason she's in this mess is because of me!" I shouted "Kaiba. Yugi will win this duel and he will free Y/N and Mokuba's souls. Y/N is our friend too we're all worried about her" Gardner told me. Yugi...The rest is up to you now.

Back to ze Duel

"I will defeat you, in one realm or another" Pegasus laughed as the darkness surrounded the playing field. The only ones there were Yugi and Pegasus, everyone else had been left in the normal realm. "You'll find your experience in the Shadow Realm this time will be a lot harder then your last. The strain of maintaining your mind shuffle will make it mentally exhausting for you to conjure up your Monsters" Pegasus pointed out before the two switched again. "Let's finish our duel now" the spirit said before drawing a card and Pegasus did the same. "For my next trick I play my card Dark eyes illusionist in attack mode and did I tell you? It's a Monster I created just for this game and don't forget in this realm it's as real as you are! But how formidable could he be with no attack or defense points? Of course because it's a Monster you've never seen before you have no way of knowing its hidden secrets and I have been know to have some tricks up my sleeve from time to time right Yugi?" Pegasus laughed "I don't know what secrets your Dark eyes illusionist holds but I'm certain it's not as harmless as you'd like me to believe I'm sure it's quite dangerous" the spirit argued. "You're so suspicious" Pegasus laughed before spirit placed his Curse of Dragon on the field in attack mode and switched with Yugi. Yugi was getting more exhausted by the second but was determined to play his turn.

Pegasus taunted Yugi and the strain was getting to him so he switched back with the spirit who attacked with his Curse of Dragon but the attack was stopped by the Dark eyes illusionist. "With such a superb Monster at my disposal what could my next move be?" Pegasus asked rhetorically "just play it" spirit told him "as you wish believe it or not I'm going to use the black illusion ritual card to sacrifice my magnificent Dark eyes. I'm using this to summon an even better Monster. I hereby sacrifice my Dark eyes illusionist to summon the incredible, extraordinary, unforgettable creature known only as Relinquished! Quite a looker huh?" Pegasus asked "what kind of Monster could this be I've never seen anything like it" Spirit said. "I'll show you by activating its special power it's even more irresistible than my previous Monster" Pegasus joked before Relinquished absorbed Curse of Dragon! Spirit then attacked with Dark Magician but Pegasus activated Relinquished's defense shield and the Curse of Dragon was merged with it and was destroyede by the attack instead and seeing as it was Spirit's Monster his life points went down with only 400 remaining! "Whilst I have Relinquished in play you're your own worst enemy!" Pegasus laughed. Relinquished then absorbed Dark Magician turning the Monster into another defense shield and the two switched places. "Pegasus I throw one card face down and for my last move I place Feral Imp into defense mode" Yugi said in a tired tone "Relinquished use the Dark Magician to destroy his Feral Imp!" Pegasus said, the imp was destroyed and Yugi had passed out!

Spirit's P.O.V.

"Spirit you have to beat Pegasus" Yugi said before passing out. "Yugi!" I shouted, I tried waking up but I couldn't sense his spirit or his mind. He can't be gone, he can't be! I switched places again, I will defeat Pegasus for Yugi! "You used your under handing tactics to overwhelm Yugi's mind. You will pay for what you did!" I told him "so I take it from this emotional outburst that you're having a difficult time acknowledging the fact that you failed in your duty to protect your little Dueling protégé, whoever you are maybe Yugi would have been better of without your little interference" Pegasus taunted "be silent! For what you have done I will show you no mercy!" I told him, I drew Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress but I had no way of stopping Pegasus from reading my card and he knew the card I drew. He knows all the card in my hand, the only he doesn't know is the card Yugi left on the field. "I play Winged Dragon in defense mode" I said but Pegasus destroyed it instantly "ah that was fun! Now the card of your final defeat your times run out" Pegasus laughed before summoning Jigen Bakudan the infamous time bomb to the field! "Jigen Bakudan is a self destructing Monster who is immune to attacks. In just two turns it will explode and destroy my Relinquished and your Dark Magician finishing off your life points!" Pegasus told me, that will destroy any hopes of me rescuing Yugi's Grandfather, Y/N and Mokuba! "Face it the clock is ticking down on your demise and there's nothing you can do to stop it!" Pegasus chuckled what am I going to do? As soon as I draw a card Pegasus will know what it is. "You can do nothing against me, you've lost the game is over" Pegasus laughed. He's right I've failed. I've failed Yugi and all of his friends, nothing in my deck can help me now. Yugi's sacrifice was in vain, his Grandfather, Y/N and Mokuba are doomed!
