Duel With A Ghoul!

Y/N's P.O.V.

"Y/N, you don't have a ghost of a chance beating Kaiba because this time he is a ghost" Kemo chuckled "a ghost? I doubt it! It's more like a trick from Pegasus!" I growled "it's true two witnesses saw him fall to his doom" Kemo replied no! I-it can't be true S-Seto can't be dead he can't! "Liar take back what you said!" Mokuba shouted, I went to the arena without saying a word. "Y/N my dear, you look like you've seen a ghost! I am no longer of this world and it's because of Yugi Moto the 'friend' you treasure so much!" The 'ghost' laughed "shut it! You're not a ghost! Seto isn't dead! I don't know who you are but I will defeat you in this duel and win Mokuba's freedom!" I yelled "Kemo, after I win Pegasus can have KaibaCorp! Three stars say I win! You won't beat my cards Y/N so let's duel shall we?" He asked "I start with the Hitotsu-me giant" Seto said as he set his monster in attack mode, he's starting off the same way he did with Yugi to make me believe he is Seto but that card isn't exactly hard to get. "Go Dark Magician Girl! Dark Magic attack!" I yelled, the Hitotsu-me giant was destroyed and the imposter's life points went down to 1200 "you may as well give up Y/N your deck has no big advantage your deck doesn't contain Exodia. Yugi could only beat me with Exodia and without it you can only lose!" Seto laughed darkly he's right I don't have Exodia and nothing in my deck is strong enough to beat a blue eyes let alone three!

Seto's P.O.V. Italics=Computer

Pegasus has guards all over my mansion looks like I'll have to break in! I climbed over a wall and found the entrance to my secret basement, I pulled down a book and did the retina scan, I sat down in front of the computer and started it up. "Running identity verification protocol please sate your name" "Seto Kaiba" I responded "I'd thought I'd seen it all but having to sneak into your own house?" "It's too long a story for right now." I said "too long a story? Well, maybe I'm in such a talkative mood myself now" "I'd find that hard to believe" I replied. "Such a smart guy whilst you were off gallivanting a hostile take over of Kaiba Corporation has begun. At the same time Maximillion Pegasus kicked off his Duel Monsters Championship at the Duelist Kingdom if Y/N L/N is killed and Yugi Moto can be defeated by Pegasus or a competitor that represents him then the new Kaiba Corporation board has promised him complete control over the company" "he won't win Yugi is unbeatable he has Exodia in his deck but why do they want to kill Y/N she has no part in this!" "yeah well Pegasus has banned the card from the tournament because of it's unbeatable power he's taking no risks and as for Y/N? Rumors have been going around that you two have been getting all lovey dovey so the company want to get rid of her so she doesn't interfere" "no way!" "when it rains it pours. Pegasus knows all about the Corporation Bylaws that require a living Kaiba heir to make any change of control legal. Mokuba's his prisoner and with you out of the way it's likely Pegasus will exert all kinds of pressure to make your brother do what he wants one way or another. So now you know. WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?!" "Calm down, they'll keep Mokuba safe at least until the take over is complete! I can only hope that Y/N stays safe she's capable of taking care of herself but I have to make sure Yugi doesn't lose a single duel no matter what! I'm not gonna give KaibaCorp up without a real fight! It's takeover time by me! We're going to hack right into Pegasus' computer mainframe. Next stop the Duelist Kingdom!"

Y/N's P.O.V.

"Are you here to play head games or Duel Monsters? It's your move" I told him. "And it's going to blow your mind, this next card is a blast from the past Y/N with the emphasis on blast!" He said before showing me the card he drew. It was the Blue Eyes White Dragon! "I attack with the Blue Eyes White Dragon!" He announced before the mighty dragon arrived on the field so this is Seto's deck, there's no other explanation but that still doesn't mean Seto's dead does it? "Don't worry Y/N my feelings weren't hurt when you called me a liar before I died the last emotion I ever felt for you was love. Just admit you were wrong and I'll forgive you" he hissed now he's trying to mess with my head there's no way Seto would be in love with me! I'm just plain boring old me, he's just trying to get in my head and make me lose!

Seto's P.O.V.

"We've easily broken through the duelist kingdom computer system." "Too easy. Ok, when it comes to computer duels Pegasus has met his match. Now it should be a piece of cake to find the field in which Yugi is dueling" "I'm lookin' I'm lookin'. Access denied?!" "What did you do wrong?!" "Don't blame me, I finally found the security and it's all around Yugi's data" "ah I should have known. Fine by me Pegasus go ahead and give it your best shot. There isn't a computer system anywhere on Earth I can't break into. Here's the thing: Every computer has a back door if you know where to look. It'll be quicker if I take over on manual for a while, data from all the duels is being beamed from the island to an orbiting Industrial Illusions satellite and back down to their mainframe. These transmissions are obviously highly encrypted, if we can some how force their computer offline, I'm sure their back up systems won't have as much security." "Are you sayin' we can make their computer crash? From here? But how?" "A computer crash is exactly what I had in mind, the biggest computer crash ever and I'm gonna use Pegasus' own satellite to do it!" "But I've already tried to hack into their systems." "My idea's different. Once the security is down we should be freely able to access the data, be ready for a search for the Dark Magician" "Dark Magician inquiry loaded and standing by" "good. If Yugi's dueling he's sure to use that card." "So spill it already. How the heck are we gonna use Industrial Illusions satellite to bring down their computer?" "By bringing down the satellite itself down all the way!" "Breaching on board computer security, you are now the proud owner of an Industrial Illusions satellite" "great now plot a crash course for the computer mainframe." "Uploading new co-ordinates now.... We have locked on target for their computer." "Hmm. Virus software won't stop this. Pegasus, you're on notice that the Kaiba Corporation is still mine!" "We have successfully crashed the satellite into the computer mainframe."

Y/N's P.O.V.

"I won't attack just yet. Why rush to victory when I can draw it out as long as possible instead? I place a face down card and end my turn" there's more to it than that he's hiding some sort of magic card. "Dark Magician Girl, go to defense mode and I summon the curse of dragon in defense mode as well" I said as I placed the card in defense mode. "Smart playing Y/N. Unfortunately it wasn't smart enough, you played right into my hand! Defense Paralysis! Now all your monsters on the field have been switched into attack mode." He informed well that trap card is in play won't be able to defend my life points. I've got to think of a way out. "Ha it's time Blue Eyes White Dragon attack! Use your Blue Lightning!" The dragon attacked my own dragon reducing my life points to 1000. "Well so much for your curse of dragon" the faker chuckled.

Seto's P.O.V.

Another field where Yugi isn't playing. "No Dark Magician there, search the next one" "we've exhausted almost every possibility of finding Yugi Moto. Field 146 is the final active duel." "Then he's gotta be there! Search field 146!" The computer crashed twice "hold on a sec. Ha just as I thought, a virus a good one. It stops anybody from accessing data which involves Dark Magician or anything related to it. That means just one thing Yugi's inside get ready to go in!" I got through the door but on the other side was a virtual fortress it can only be accessed through a password I typed Pegasus in and it worked what a surprise. "We have access to the duel on this field but Yugi isn't dueling Y/N is and you won't believe who she's dueling!" "Who is it?"

Y/N's P.O.V.

"Ah so predictable" Faikba chuckled yeah I got a nickname for him. "Y/N, you know that's not him! My brother's not mean like this! He would never treat you like this! He cares about you and he's my best friend in the whole world! That things not him! You've gotta believe me" Mokuba shouted tearing up slightly, Mokuba's right Seto would never treat me and Mokuba like this but that doesn't mean he loves me. I drew magical hats from my deck "magical hats! Conceal the Dark Magician Girl! She's under there somewhere I chuckled. "Are you so desperate that you have your Dark Magician Girl doing simple hat tricks?" Faikba questioned "the real question is what else is hiding underneath those hats?" I asked laughing slightly "WHITE LIGHTNING!" If he attacks the right hat I'll lose more than just this duel much more!
