Without even realising, I ran up to the Alpha's standing in front of me and wrapped my arms around his body. He slowly ran his fingers through my hair as I silently started crying.

"Jet! I have missed you so much." I cried.

"Shush." He soothingly whispered. "What happened to you?"

"Can we not do this here?" I whispered as I wiped my tears.

Suddenly, Rory came running over. He nodded towards Jet before looking at me.

"My father knows you have gone. He knows that I helped you."

I looked warily towards Jet who started to get angry. I could see Alpha Hayden coming towards us in the distance and my heart started racing. Both Jet and Rory growled and stepped in front of me. Reaching forward, I grabbed each of their hands. They both looked at me as my hair started glowing silver.

"What just happened?" Rory asked.

"No time to explain." I said just as Hayden shifted and threatened the males in front of me. Both of them shifted and I realised it was the first time I had seen either of their wolves. They were magnificent.

I watched as Hayden went to strike Jet but was thrown back by an invisible force field. Smiling to myself, I watched once again as it happened to Rory. Hayden tried to attack numerous times before giving up and bowing down in repeat.

All three of the wolves shifted back into human form and were chucked some spair shorts. Rory and Jet looked triumphant yet confused. Hayden looked downright angry.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" Hayden demanded.

I stepped forward with a proud smile plastered on my face. "I did the exact thing I am supposed to do. I used a protection spell on the boys." Rory and Jet both turned to look at me. "My powers were given to me to protect the werewolves, not to heal some silly little cuts on some silly little wolves."

Hayden looked surprised at this new attitude. I had never complained about the work he gave me. I had just healed the wolves. But that was not what I was needed for.

"Now, Hayden if you want to keep the fact that you kept me prisoner and used me for my powers secret, you will cancel the Alpha meeting as to excuse the absence of Alpha Jet and let us walk out of your pack right now. You will also not harm Rory in anyway and let him be happy with his mate. Do you understand me?" As I spoke, my hair started shining a bright silver. I realised that I had gained my full power as Protector and was using them all right now.

Hayden nodded and turned around towards his pack house. Angrily, he turned around.

" You have ten minutes to pack anything you want from your room and to leave my land."

I nodded and ran into the house with Rory following me. Jet agreed to wait outside and to bring a car round to the front door. I chucked some clothes in a bag, along with any toiletries I had before turning to Rory. I hugged him and saw I tear fall from his eye.

"Aw is the big bad wolf crying?" I laughed before hugging him once more. "I will get a phone so I can keep in contact with you and we have to visit each other. I expect to be at the wedding and to be auntie to your children." A tear rolled down my cheek.

"Don't cry. This is not goodbye, this is see you later. We are both free of my father."

"We are free." I smiled. I took one more look around the room I had spent thirteen years of my life trapped in, before running down the stairs and out the door.

Jet sat in the driver's seat of a black range rover as I gingerly opened the passenger seat door. As I climbed in, he grabbed my hand in his gloved one and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

"You are going home." He smiled before his eyes glazed over. I recognised it as him mind linking the pack.

"Can we just go?" I whispered as Hayden came out of the door. Silently, I watched the pack house fade into the distance and settled down into the car seat. I was finally free and it felt amazing.
