We sat in the living room for a while just talking. I finally was able to share in Lily's excitement about the little Rory/Alia and got even more excited when Alia told me that once the baby was born I would be godmother. However, we couldn't talk forever and it was soon time for Alia to go home. Lily and I waved her off before going back inside. That was when a guard came and told me that Jet wanted to see me.

"Alpha or not, I will beat him up if he doesn't give you a sincere apology." Lily growled, seriously.

"Calm down, tiger." I laughed.

"I'm a wolf, not a tiger." Lily laughed before letting me walk into Jet's office.

As soon as I walked in, he pulled me into a hug.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, kissing the top of my head softly and stroking my hair.

"I'm sorry too." I said looking at him. "I over reacted. You would have told me about the letter, I understand."

Jet sighed and sat down. As I was about to sit on the chair next to him, he pulled me onto his lap.

"Kiara, of course I am sorry about the letter but I wasn't apologising for that. When I saw you and the girls going in the living room, I wanted to apologise. I needed to. I hurt you and I couldn't let myself get away with that. I built up the courage to go and say sorry but the I heard you talking to the girls. I know what day it is today and I'm sorry."

I could feel a tear slip down my cheek and smiled slightly as Jet wiped it away. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

"You have nothing to be sorry about."

We sat cuddling for a while before my mum knocked on the door of the office. As she came in she smiled at the sight.

"Mum? Do you need anything?" I giggled as she just stood there looking at Jet and me.

"Um.....I did but I can't remember." She laughed.

"Okaaaaaaaay?" I looked to Jet, confused. Jet just shrugged his shoulders at me.

I jumped off Jet's lap and then walked over to the door.

"STOP!" My mum shouted and I smiled.

"You're distracting us, aren't you?" I placed my hands on my hips.

"I don't know what you are on about, Kiara. I must say though, I like your outfit."

"You're changing the subject! Mum, don't lie to me. What's going on out there?" I asked, showing my new found Luna side.

"Just a small get together. We figured out you two would need some cheering up." My mum looked down at the floor.

I sat down on a seat that was in the office and put my head on my hands. Jet whispered something to my mum and they both left. Being left alone in the office, gave me time to catch my breath. The people out there didn't know what today was, they just wanted to help. I should have gone out there, especially since being around my friends and family would help. I looked up when Jet came back in the room and sat in front of me. He grabbed both my hands and brought them to his lips.

"I've told your mum that today isn't an amazing day for you. That we had a disagreement and you aren't feeling too good. Everyone understands if you don't want to come out."

I pushed myself off the chair and sat straddling his lap. I pushed his hair back and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Who's out there?" I whispered into the crook of his neck.

"Your parents, my parents, James and Lily. Oh and apparently Alia didn't leave earlier because Alia and Rory are outside too."

I looked at him and kissed him. I climbed off his waist and grabbed his hand, pulling him up. I walked over to the door and smiled softly at him.

"I'm proud of you." He smiled and kissed the top of my head.

We walked out and my girls hugged me. It was an awkward hug because I wouldn't let go of Jet's hand. We passed time drinking and talking, which did cheer me up. Jet was amazed when Rory told him they wanted him to be godfather, squeezing my hand in reassurance as the conversation turned to children. I had a nice night and I knew this would be the last one before the war.
