Lost in the Hunter world

First stage part 2

Naruko pov

My vision was tinted grey as I ran just slightly behind Satoz san. The fog hung low and I could barely make out Gon and Killua who were just next to me. 

"Guys. We should tell Kurapika and Leorio san to join us at the front. Satoz san said we should all stick together." I suggested as I began to worry a bit. They nodded their head as we dropped back to find the 2 of them. 

"Kurapika! Jiji! Where are you?" I shouted trying to find them in the dense fog. I suddenly felt a throbbing pain on my head as I looked behind me to see a seething Leorio. 

"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me jiji!" Leorio said as multiple tick marks appeared on his forehead. I smiled sheepishly and gave him a not so apologetic look. 

"Hey Naruko." Kurapika said from behind Leorio with a smile on his face. I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around to see Gon with a smile and Killua with a slightly angry face. 

"Don't go off on your own like that baka." Killua said as he bonked my head. These people are so abusive. Even more then Sakura.

"You guys should come to the front with us. Satoz san saids it's safer to stick at the front." Gon said with an encouraging smile. Kurapika took one look at Leorio panting form before saying that they would stay behind for a bit and that we could go first. 

Time skip

Third person pov

The small group of men followed swiftly behind Hisoka who kept his eyes glued in front of him. Hisoka could sense it. He could smell the weak blood lust from behind him. Hisoka had time and he had begun to get a bit bored. He knew exactly what he would do. 

"We'll take advantage of the fog and get rid of him." A person from the group whispered to the guys around him. They all nodded in agreement before catching up to Hisoka who had just entered a clearing. Hisoka stopped as the group behind him began to circle around the clown. 

"You're too dangerous to become a hunter." The leader of the group said while gripping tightly onto his blade as the rest of them did the same. 

"You wish to play the examiner? How interesting. Allow me to join in as well." Hisoka said as a smile stretched across his face. The group charged at the lone clown in rage as he just smirked while loosely holding a card in his hand. When they was just a few feet away from Hisoka he flicked his wrist and the men stopped as they stared at the gaping holes in their chests. They fell like flies, blood pooling around them. Only one other man stood. An expression of horror was etched onto his face as his knees buckled, staring into Hisoka's insanity tinted eyes. 

Naruko pov

"Guys I've got a bad feeling about Kurapika and jiji." I said after we emerged from the frogs mouth. The 2 boys looked at me with a questioning stare. "I'm going back to look for them. You guys go ahead." I shouted not bothering to hear their replies as I dashed off. I'm coming for you guys. 

Third person pov

Leorio and Kurapika could only stop and stare as they watched the man crumple down in front of them with a single card pierced at the back of his head. Hisoka calmly walked and pulled the card from the dead mans head. 

"You guys want to join too?" Hisoka said and turned to face the 2 of them.

"Guys! Are you kidding me? There's no time for games right now! We're in the chunin exams!" Naruko said as she suddenly burst out of the trees. "Clown man, jiji, Kurapika lets go!" 

Naruko ran up to Hisoka who had a slightly shocked expression. "What are you waiting for?" Naruko said while grabbing his hand. She turned around to look at Kurapika and Leorio who's eyes were wide and had their mouthes gaping open. She laughed slightly before telling them to hurry up and follow her. 

"Clown man let's lead!" She said as she broke out into a sprint as she continued to grip onto Hisoka's hand. 

Hisoka pov

I stared down at the child who ran in front of me. Her hand gripping mine. A shiver ran up my spine as a small laugh erupted from within me. A naive little child who clearly didn't see the dead bodies around her and understand the situation they were in. I turned around to see the 2 other fruits running behind us at a safe distance with a shell shocked expression. This child was continuing to surprise me. She had come out of no where and she clearly didn't sense my blood lust. No one has ever caught me by surprise. No one. Usually I would've ripped off anyone's hand who dared to touch me but this child interested me. How was she so oblivious? So very interesting. My eyes rolled to the back of my head as an intense wave of emotions crashed through me. One standing out more then the rest of them. Excitement. I can't wait for her to ripen. 

Time skip

Naruko pov

"Naruko! You just made it!" Gon said while rushing up to me with a large grin on his face. I was about to run up to him and hug him before I realised I was still gripping onto the clown mans hand. 

"Woops sorry!" I said with a sheepish smile before I remembered what happened before. "Clown man! What were you thinking! You would've failed the first stage if you continued to play games! Do you even want to pass the chunin exam? What would your sensei say if he found out you failed the first round dattebayo!" I scolded him while he only stared down at me with amusement. "Are you even taking this seriously?" I shouted while lightly slapping his arm. I soon realised everyone was silent as I looked around me. They all seemed to be holding in a breath. They quickly looked away as I saw fear appear on their faces. I looked back to see clown man giving them a glare. 

"Call me Hisoka." Clown man said before walking off with a creepy looking smile. Clown man's weird. 

"Naruko!" 2 voices shouted from behind me as I felt a large weight jump onto me. I turned around again to see Leorio with tears and snot running down his face. "You saved us!" Leorio said while rubbing his cheek against mine affectionately. 

"Ew get off jiji!" I said while pushing him off of me with a laugh. 

"What were you thinking baka!" Another 2 voices said before I felt 2 simultaneous punches on my head. I looked up to see Kurapika and Kilua staring down at me furiously. 

"Hisoka is dangerous!" Killua shouted exasperatedly. "And for some dumb reason you're the only one who doesn't see it!"

"He could've killed you!" Kurapika shouted as I sheepishly rubbed the back of my head.

"Well he didn't dattebayo!" I said cheerfully as I turned to walk towards Satoz san who looked completely amused with the situation. 

"Come back here Naruko! I'm not done with you!" Kurapika shouted from behind me as I just laughed and ran away.

Ehehehe plot twist? I'm making this story quite different from the original story line because I'm sure you've already read a lot of fan fics that may be quite similar to each other. Sorry if you don't like it but I want to make it a little bit original.
