Rosie's POV
A week and a half later
So right now we are currently in San Francisco for magcon. We got here yesterday morning and have an event later. We are here for 4 days then after that we go to Toronto which I'm super excited for. I will finally get to be back in my hometown, I will hopefully get to see some of my old friends like Abbie and Zach but best of all, I'll get to see the Mendes family again. My second family.
"Is it bad that I want San Francisco to be over and done with right now?" I asked to no one in particular as we were all sat in cam, Nash and Hayes' hotel room.
"Well we understand why you want it to be over and done with, fans? Not so sure, so keep that to yourself" Johnson advised me.
"Noted" I nodded.
"That's what Kian says" cam laughed. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What?"
"Kian lawley" Nash said. My mouth formed an o shape as I nodded.
"When we're next in California we should ask him and JC to be special guests for the show" mahogany suggested.
"That's not a bad idea you know" Cameron said nodding.
"It'll be awesome!" Gilinsky agreed.
"Probably get more tickets sold" Hayes shrugged, earning a slap from Nash for his comment.
"You sound like Bart" Carter muttered shaking his head.
"Carter don't" Matt warned. I furrowed my eyebrows again in confusion.
"Okay, now you guys have lost me" I spoke. Aaron shook his head and responded.
"Don't worry, nothing important" he answered, staring at Shawn now for help.
"Hey babe, have you got a dollar I can borrow to get something from the vending machine downstairs?" He asked, clearly trying to change the subject.
"Err yeah?" I said pulling out the money for him and handing it over. I could've chosen to question the boys more but for now, it seemed best not to do so.
"I'll be back then" Shawn said standing up and walking towards the door.
"I'm coming!" Aaron jumped up.
"Me too!" Taylor called and followed the two boys out of the room.
Once the door shut everyone stayed silent and it felt awkward. I was staring at them all with my eyebrows scrunched, clearly proving to them all they were being suspicious.
"You guys are weird" I shook my head then left the room to go to my own.
*magcon event*
"So I saw who followed your Instagram and Twitter last night" lox said as we were walking to our meet and greet spots.
"So?" I questioned.
"He's Niall Horan! He's so into you!" She squealed.
"Oh my gosh lox, I'm 16, he's 20! And I'm with Shawn so cut it out!" I told her before standing in my spot between Matt and Taylor.
The meet and greet went by quickly and we had already done the show earlier meaning we were finished for the day.
We were now all walking up to our hotel rooms.
"Hey bart?" Johnson asked our manager.
"Can we ask you something?" Gilinsky asked. I noticed Cameron had a panicked look on his face but I stayed silent and watched what was currently happening.
"Can you get us tickets to see one direction again? I miss them" Johnson said really quickly. Taylor smacked him on the back of the head.
"That was NOT the question he was originally meant to be asking" he said.
"Okay that's, Bart, we wanna know how much money you're really getting from magcon because we feel that we aren't getting enough to what we are supposed to. When we all originally signed the contracts to be in magcon we were promised much more money than this. And don't use the bull shit of 'we don't get enough money' because we do, we all know we do. We know the price of the tickets for fans and we see the numbers of fans who turn up to our events and that's a lot. We'd like to know why we're pretty much being scammed?" Cameron questioned.
Woah.
Where's this coming from.
"Did you know about this?" Lox questioned me. I shook my head.
"Did you know about this?" I questioned Shawn. He shook his head no too.
"But I think I know who did" he said pointing over at Cameron, Nash, Hayes, Carter, gilinsky, Johnson and Taylor who were all now in a small argument with Bart.
"I'm going to my room" I stated considering I didn't wanna be a part of this conversation/argument which was taking place in the middle of the corridor.
Lox, Shawn and I walked into mine and lox' room. Lox sat on her bed and Shawn and I sat on mine. We could hear the argument still happening outside.
"I didn't realise they were in it for the money..." I trailed off, resting my head on Shawn's chest.
"I don't think they are Rosie, I think it's just more the fact they've been in magcon for so long now that they're getting fed up with being scammed at." Shaw explained. Our hands interlocked.
"On your contract how much did it say you'd get per tour?" I questioned curiously.
"$570"
My eyebrows raised.
"Wait what?"
"yeah, isn't that what your contract said?" He asked confused. I shook my head no.
"I'm getting paid $165 per tour" I stated.
"Okay that's a scam now. You gotta tell Cameron" he said sitting up with me.
"And say what?! Bart's excuse would just be that I'm new to the group so don't get much money, or I'm not as popular as y'all so I won't get much money" I said.
"That's not the point Rosie, it should be fair and also that's roughly the amount of money we are all getting at the moment when we shouldn't be" he explained.
"This is so stressful" I groaned, leaning back on Shawn's chest again.
"I know, it'll blow over soon enough I'm sure" he said placing a gentle kiss on ththe top of my forehead.
"You guys are gross" lox said with a scrunched up face as she put more glitter on her kitty ears.
