Chapter 20~ reunited

Rosie's POV

6th January 2015

"The event is tomorrow at 4pm, you should come" Matt persuaded me through the phone.

"aren't you forgetting about the fact that Shawn is gonna be there too" I said.

"Oh yeah" he said, suddenly realising what I meant.

"Wait, shouldn't you be at school?" He questioned.

"I didn't wanna go because yesterday everyone kept giving me a hard time over the Luke thing" I explained.

"I'm coming over." He said before ending the call. About an hour ago he'd landed back in Virginia and went to the hotel which was about twenty minutes away. I sighed and sat down on my bed, waiting for matts arrival?

After about twenty minutes I heard a knock on the front door, I knew my mom was downstairs so I just decided to let her answer it. A Few minutes later I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and my bedroom door swung open.

"Bestie Espinosa has arrived!" He said spreading his arms wide, expecting a hug from me. I stayed laying down on my bed and stared at him blankly. His smile dropped and he put his arms back down to his sides, pulling a sad face.

"Oh, I see how it is" he said fake crying.

"Awe Matthew" I cooked and hugged him. We laughed and let go of the hug before sitting beside each other on my bed.

"So what's been happening in school then?" He asked curiously. I sighed.

"Well pretty much everyone was at austins party so they're all aware of was Luke tried to do and all the popular girls like Macy Powell have been giving me a hard time saying I was stupid to reject him and stuff." I summarised.

"Is that it? Surely they should be happy you rejected him" he stated confused. I shrugged.

"That's what I thought, but I don't even know" I answered.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be at Austin's party to protect you" he told me. I shook my head.

"It's fine, he tried apologising to me yesterday" I said. His head snapped towards me.

"Remind what exactly happened at the party?" He questioned.

"He was being forceful with me and trying to kiss me, he put these bruises on my wrists" I said showing him my wrists which were now a faded blue-green colour. His jaw clenched and he shook his head standing up.

"What's the time?" He questioned. I checked my phone and read the time.

"3:20, why?" I asked. He didn't say anything, instead he dashed out of the door, dropping his phone on the ground along the way.

"Matt!" I yelled. Oh shit. This can't be good.

Where is he going?

Uh oh. School finishes at 3:30...ten minutes time. I picked up both of our phones and rushed out of the door behind him. He ran to his driveway next door and got in his car before I could stop him.

"Oh shit" I said watching him pull out of the driveway.

I ran back into my house and grabbed my car keys, ignoring the calls of my mom and Josh. I got in the car and started the engine. Before I pulled out of the drive way I u locked matts phone, I was gonna need some help. Luckily I knew the password so I got on to his contacts pretty quickly. I was scrolling through his contacts, in hope of finding one of the magcon boys who could help. I only know who they are because Matt always talked about each and everyone of them.
