Chapter 35~ diner

Rosie's POV

Next day

I woke up to see I was still in the same clothes as yesterday and I had Shawn's arm draped over my waist. I rolled over and picked up my phone from my bedside table to check the time. 9:07am.

I can't wait for my mind to get used to the fact that it's summer now and I don't need to wake up so early. I looked down at Shawn who was still peacefully sleeping with little snores escaping his mouth. I smiled to myself. I slowly got out of his grip and slid out of the bed. I walked over to my closet and picked out an outfit to wear before taking it through to my bathroom and getting ready for the day. Once I was washed, changed and finished with my hair and make up I walked back out of the bathroom to see Shawn now awake on his phone.

"Morning" I told him, sitting back on the bed beside him.

"Morning" he smiled back and locked his phone before pulling me closer to him. He rested his head on my lap so I started to play with his hair.

"What can we do today?" He asked. I thought for a moment and smiled when a thought came into mind.

"Stay there" I said standing up from the bed. I knocked on the wall three times to signal Matt to come to the balcony. I opened the doors and waited for him, he came seconds later.

"You're lucky I was awake" he said grumpily. He was still in his pyjamas and his bed head was still wild making it impossible for me to take him seriously.

"Good morning to you too" I joked and rested my arms on the railing to face him. He done the same so we were now facing each other.

"What's up anyways?" He asked.

"I wanna show Shawn a little mor around town today. He's gonna be visiting Virginia a lot more now whenever he gets the chance because of us being back together so I wanna show him the diner, take him to town, the park...places like that you know? Wanna join?" I explained then asked him. He nodded.

"I'm down. We'll leave at 11, my car" he said before walking back inside. I walked back into my bedroom where Shawn was back to tapping on his phone whilst he laid on my bed.

"You've got just under two hours until we leave, Matt and I are showing you around town" I told him. He locked his phone and sat up.

"Sounds good" he responded.

"You need clothes?" I questioned as I watched him stand lost for a moment. He looked at me and nodded. I rolled my eyes and walked to the wardrobe where I always had his spare clothes. I picked out an outfit for him and chucked them over to him.

"We can take de-tour to the hotel at one point today to get your stuff. Tomorrow we can hang with the magcon guys" I told him. He nodded then went into the bathroom.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen where my mom was walking about gathering her things together.

"Where are you going?" I asked confused. She stopped and looked at me like I was crazy.

"I've got work! You're supposed to be looking after Josh today remember?" She told me. Shit.

"Oh crap yeah, that's fine mom. Shawn, Matt and I were gonna go out for the day but we'll bring Josh with us, it's fine." I told her. She smiled.

"Thanks honey. Okay, Josh has had breakfast already, he's upstairs in his room. Any emergency's ring me, I'll be back by 6." She said rushing towards the door.

"Goodbye mom" I told her with a wave. She said goodbye and closed the door behind her.

I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat at the table. When I was close to finishing it Shawn came downstairs and started making himself some.
