A week later
Rosie's POV
"Only one week" Shawn beamed at me through FaceTime. I smiled brightly and nodded.
"One week" I confirmed.
"Is that Rosie?" The voice belonging to Aaliyah asked.
"Yeah" Shawn told her.
"Hi Rosie!" She smiled and came into view on my phone. I smiled and waved back at her.
"Hey girl!" I smiled at her.
I spoke on FaceTime with Shawn and Aaliyah for about half an hour until their mom told them they were going out meaning we had to end the call.
I knocked two times on the wall and walked out on the balcony, waiting for Matt to appear.
When he finally did, he smiled at me.
"Wassup?" He asked.
"Diner?" I asked, avoiding his question.
"Sure, your car, five minutes" he said then walked inside to finish getting ready.
I obeyed his orders and waited in my car for him five minutes later. He soon got in the passenger side and buckled himself in.
"Let's go!" He said happily. I chuckled and backed out of the driveway, starting the short journey to the diner.
"I invited the whole group if that's alright?" He asked. I shook my head.
"No it's fine" I smiled.
We were our typical selves for the ride there, singing and dancing along to songs as usual.
I parked outside the diner and we walked inside seeing everyone already sat at our regular table.
"Hey guys" I smiled and sat opposite Austin, Matt sitting beside me. On my other side was Jake.
"Hello you two" Lucy smiled at us.
We all ordered our food and I decided to start up a conversation.
"So now that you lot have graduated, what are your plans?" I asked the ones who graduated.
"We're taking a gap year, then we're gonna go to university when Maisie and Lucy does" Sam explained. I nodded in understanding considering they would wanna go to university with their girlfriends.
"I'm gonna go to Stanford" Austin smiled at me. I beamed at him in excitement.
"That's awesome Austin" I told him. I looked over at Luke who was staring at his lap.
"What about you Luke?" I asked him.
"Umm, I'm going UCLA" he said nervously. My eyes widened.
"Luke! That's amazing!" I told him.
"Why didn't you tell any of us?" Jake asked. He shrugged.
"I didn't think you'd all care" he said.
"Of course we do, we're proud of you." Lucy stated, the rest of us nodding in agreement.
"What about you Matt? What's your plans?" Maisie asked. I hadn't even asked him this myself yet so I was curious to what his answer was going to be.
"Uhh I'm not doing university like the rest of you guys, I've got some work coming up now which I've gotta start focusing more on" he nodded. I rested my head on my hand.
"Like what?" I asked curiously.
"It's not been announced yet but I'm gonna be doing summer and winger digi tour....and this has only been confirmed recently and you can't tell people but I'm gonna be starring in a movie" he smiled.
"Oh my gosh for real?" I asked. He nodded.
"What movie?" Lucy squealed.
"It's too early to say at the moment" he told us. Lucy frowned but nodded anyways.
"Our senior year is gonna be so boring" I said, Lucy and Maisie nodding.
"I don't know whether to be offended or not" Jake said. I giggled a little.
"I mean it's just gonna be weird without the whole group. I mean there's 9 of us and the groups gonna go down to 4 when we go back to school" I stated.
"True"

"So what are your plans for your 17th birthday coming up, then Rosie?" Matt asked once we sat down on my bed. I shrugged.
"I honestly don't really know....Shawn's coming down for my birthday which I'm really excited about but I've not really got anything special planned for it" I told him truthfully.
"Well you're boring" he stated.
"Well what about you Mr Dinosaur, your 18th is only a little over a week from mine...what's your plans?" I asked with a smirk. He stayed silent for a moment, clearly thinking.
"I'll decide closer to the time" he shrugged making me laugh.
