Chapter 29

Ariana's POV
I walked into my room and slammed the door shut.
"That was close." I whispered as I lay down on my bed. What am I going to do? There gonna ask questions and...I don't know how I would reply to it. Just then I heard someone walk into my room. I sat up and turned my head to find Katherine.
"Oh hey Kath, you don't mind if I call you that. I kind of like giving people nicknames." I told her as she walked towards me.
"That ok. I don't mind. Kath... It sounds... Different. I like it." She said as I let out a laugh.
"Aria. How could you send me that message in my head?"She said in a serious tone as she came and sat down next it me. I looked up at her before speaking.
"I'm a hybrid Kath. Half vampire half witch." I told her as she looked at me a but shocked. Her eyes widened as she replied.
"What! How are you a hybrid? That's not possible." He said confused in her own thoughts. I looked down at my hands as I thought of all the things that had happened when I was in New Orleans.
"But that's not it, is it?" She asked as I looked up to her, sadness in my eyes before replying.
"I went to the originals to learn about beginning an original. I know how I am one now, and I found that out because my dad came down to New Orleans. Only when he got here he snapped my neck after I'd jut got out of a coffin buried under ground. That's why I'm mad at him." I told her. I wasn't sure about whether I should tell her about Nick or not. Tears began to fall down my face as I quickly wiped them away.
"Why did he snap your neck?" Kath asked me as I sighed before replying.
"I fell for the wrong person. The person everyone hates but me. I fell for Nicklaus Mikaelson, Kath." I told her as tears began to fall down my face.
"And Damon doesn't believe he really loves you." Kath stated.
"That and the fact he hates him. He came today, though. I really had missed him. He's the only one that gets me, understands me." I told her as she smiled.
"You won't tell, will you?" I asked her in a begging tone as she replied.
"Your secret is safe with me, Aria. I won't tell anyone, I promise." She said before getting up and heading for the door.
"Shall we go shopping." She smirked as I stood up and grabbed my leather jacket before replying.
"I wouldn't say no to shopping ever." Then we left and drove to the mall.

Damons POV

I was holding Elena's hand when Wes entered.
"Why isn't this a cute scene." He smirked as I snapped back.
"What do you want?" He chuckled as I looked towards Elena. She was scared I could see it in her eyes.
"I've come to take one of you away. How about the pretty one, Elena?"
He smirked as he walked towards Elena's cell.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" I shouted at him running towards him and tried to hit him or something. He then hit me on the head with something metal. I wasn't sure what. I tried to dodge it but my reflexes were slow as I was weak and he hit me. I grunted as I tried to stand up again but this time he injected me with a whole lot of vervain and then everything went black.

Ariana's POV

We pulled up in the driveway after already shopping. I had bought a really cute pair of high waisted shorts. I also bought this tight crop top that was just plain black as well as a cute deep purple sundress which had horizontal cuts down the back. I was so happy as we walked through the door. This had been one of the best days of my life, apart from throwing up dirt and nearly sending Mystic falls into a massive storm. I walked towards the fire place and sat on the chair beside it. Kath soon did the same.
"That was so fun ,Kath. We should so go shopping again sometime." I told her as she replied.
"The only thing I regret is that I didn't find that dress before you!" She exclaimed as we both laughed before i stood up.
"Well I better go up stairs and put this away." I told her.
"Yeah. I'm going to go and talk to Stefan." She said as she lowered her head and blushed.
"OMG! Something happened between you to didn't it?" I asked her as she gestured me to be more quiet.
"Maybe. I'll keep you informed on what happens. " she said before walking up the stairs and into Stefan's room. I sighed before walking up to my own room and shutting the door shut. I walked over to the window and sat down on the window seat. I stared out into the calming night. I gently opened the window and let the breeze hit my face. I began to recall all the constellations I could see. Stars are so beautiful, I thought as I yawned. I was rather tired but not enough to fall asleep yet.
"The stars are beautiful." I heard a thick British accent say behind me. I turned my head to see Nick there with his cute smirk on his face.
"You kept your promise." I told him as he walked towards me and sat down next to me, pulling me on his lap. He fiddled with my hair as he replied.
"I did, love. You wouldn't think I would brake it, did you?" He asked as I blushed and looked to the floor.
"I wasn't sure if I had imagined the whole thing or not." I whispered even though I knew he would hear it either way. He chuckled and looked into my eyes.
"I'm very real, Aria." He whispered back as he lay a kiss on my lips.
"Mmhh I really did miss those lips." I teased as he laughed. He fiddled with my hair about more as we talked about everything. What had happened, what happened to me, how I just lay there for hours, what Nick did, and you know stuff.
"Nick.." I said as he lifted his eyes so they were staring right into mine.
"Yes, love." He replied as I blushed.
"I love you." I told him as he smiled before I pulled his lips to mine. We kissed before Nick pulled back so we were only inches apart.
"I love you too." He replied before kissing me again but this time more fiercely. He quickly picked me up and lay me down on the bed. He gently kissed down my neck as his fangs grazed my skin. Butterfly's rushed through me as he returned to my mouth.
