Chapter 22

Nicks POV
I saw her neck being snapped as I pulled the guy who had attacked me, heart out. I ran towards her but they had already taken her and disappeared.
"Aria!" I shouted but she was gone. What were they going to do with her? But before I could dwell on it anymore another vampire attacked me. But I stabbed him in the leg with a wooden stick then snapped his neck. I turned around to find Elijah and Rebekah still fighting. I was about to go help when all the vampires left. We had killed 2 of them and captured 1. I sighed. How could I let them take her?! I told her I'd always be there for her and I'm not going to break that promise.
"Damon, Elijah, Rebekah. We have to take him back to the house and ask him about what they've done with Aria." I instructed them as I began to pick up the body ,which I had snapped the neck of, earlier. We all ran back to the house.
Once we got in we chained the guy up with chains soaked in vervain. There was no way he was getting out.
" how could you let her get taken!" Damon shouted at me as he walked through the door. I quickly turned around and shouted back.
"Your her father you the one who's meant to be looking out for her!"
"You said you loved her. You also were meant to be looking out for her." He replied I stepped towards him about to kick the crap out of him when Rebekah walked in.
" Stop fighting like little brats. Just get along ,for Aria's sake. So quit the fighting or I'll have to forcefully stop you from bickering ." Rebekah instructed as I walked away from Damon annoyed. Then I saw the man we had capture stir. I ran towards him and slapped him across the face. His eyes flew open and he began to panic.
"Stop panicking and answer my question would you?!" I asked him as he fell quite.
"Better. Now where are they taking Aria?" I asked him. But he stayed silent.
" I don't want to have to ask you again!" I raised my voice as he then replied.
"All I know is that there gonna bury her in the woods somewhere. That's all I know. I swear." But I knew he was lying.
"Don't lie." I said as I ran towards him as compelled him to tell me where Aria was.
"There Burying her at the edge of the woods. There going to let her starve to death and slowly mummify. " He said in a daze.
" Good. Know what do they want with her?" I compelled him again. This time he replied.
"They don't want anything from her. They just want her dead. She is to powerful. She is almost truly immortal. She is the most powerful being in existence. Even more powerful then you." He replied dazed. How could anyone be more powerful then me? But I shoved that to the back of my head. Focus on the problem at hand, I thought to myself.
"That's all I need from you." I said before pulling out his heart and tossing it on the floor.
"Let's go get Aria." I said as me, Elijah , Rebekah and Damon left the house.

Damon's POV
We were running round the edge of the woods, looking for Ariana. But there was a lot of places around the 'edge of the woods' we didn't know which one. But I couldn't get the fact that my daughter had fallen for Klaus. I mean he's caused pain and havoc to me and Stefan and Elena. The fact that him and Ariana would be friends surprised me, let alone them falling for each other. But then again, I saw something in Klaus that actually showed he cared. I'd never seen this side of Klaus. The loving one. The one that cared. It was weird. But what was I going to tell everybody at home? Hey this is the new member to our 'family' ,Klaus. No I couldn't let her fall for him any more then she already has. When we get her back we our leaving and she won't be able to date Klaus. I don't care if she hates me forever, this could save her life, her heart. Then suddenly I smelt smoke. I woke up from my daze and turned around to Rebekah, Elijah and Klaus.
" Can you smell smoke?" They all nodded and then we ran in the direction of the fire. When we got there the whole wood was on fire. Then we saw Jenna and the 4 vampires we hadn't seen standing in the middle. They looked scared. Then I heard screaming, it was very faint but I heard it. It must be Ariana. They must of already buried her. Then it hit me, That's why there's fire.
"She needs to relax or she'll burn the whole city down." I muttered as I was so sure what had caused this fire. Ariana had.
"We need to get her out of there." Rebekah said.
"I have a plan. Nicklaus and Damon, start digging to get Ariana out and me and Rebekah will kill all the vampires." Elijah I instructed as we all nodded. Then Rebekah and Elijah went first and started killing all the vampires, while me and nick grabbed a shovel and started digging. The fact I could hear her means she wasn't very deep. I looked around and saw 3 out of 5 vampires dead. I decided to ignore what was going on in the background and focus on digging. Her screaming was getting louder and louder. Soon me and Klaus hit something solid. We started digging around the edges until we could open up the coffin. Then I felt something pierce through my back. A wooden stake. I turned around I find the last vampire standing there, except for Jenna. I couldn't pull the stake out and soon I collapsed in pain. But luckily for me Klaus ran round and pulled the guys heart out.
"Thanks." I mumbled as Klaus also pulled out the stake.
"I don't do nice things often so treasure that moment." He told me as we fidgeted with the coffin and tried to get it to open.
"No!" I heard Rebekah shout in the background. I turned round to find no one there but Elijah and Rebekah. Where had Jenna gone?
"She ran of like a baby and just disappeared." Rebekah complained.
"Would you mind helping!" I shouted at them. Then all four of us lifted the lid of the coffin. There lay Ariana . She had mud all over her and her face had tear stains all over it. She looked dreadful. Eventually her screaming died down and she whispered.
" Nick , Beka , Elijah ... Dad. I feel....." Then she fainted. The fire around us stopped. I sighed and I picked her up and we all ran back to the Mikaelsons house.

Ariana's POV

I woke up. My neck killed. I'm so going to kill that bitch. When my eyes could finally open all I saw was darkness. I was lying down. I was in a coffin. I banged my hands on the lid hoping it would open, but it didn't. Suddenly I could see soil seep through the hinges. I coughed as more and more soil seeped through. I panicked. I started screaming and shouting.
"NICK! DAD! BEKA! ELIJAH! ANYBODY !" I shouted. No one answered. Tears fell down my face as I carried on screaming. I was getting mad. , angry and frustrated . I was so useless. But the biggest feeling I was feeling was fear. I was scared, terrified. If I was never found, I would be left here to rot slowly and painfully. I didn't want that. Then I heard something hit the top of the coffin. I started screaming louder so that whoever it was could hear me. After about another 5 minutes the coffin opened. Pain surged through my body as I tried to sit up and failed.
"Nick, Beka, Elijah and ...... Dad. I feel ....." I said as I felt myself drift away . Suddenly the pain took over and everything went black.
