Anger.
It rippled through my skin like thunder.
They destroyed our treaty. They killed my parents. But they didn't know what kind of beast lurked in my thirteen year old body. Nor did I, until they ripped my parents to shreds in front of me, until the last cry of my mother's lungs died as my wolf broke with her. It reverberated through my skin, tearing apart my body. I was lost in red, sinking my teeth into each and every one of them until my black fur was painted with their life. My paws made prints of crimson in the dirt as their blood dripped between my teeth.
I'd killed their packs strongest, wolves that were twice my age. Their throats ripped out, limbs torn from bodies, claw marks matted through fur.
A hollow howl echoed in my chest and burst into the air, shaking the mountain with its power.
I was the new Alpha: The Crimson Alpha, the youngest in history.
My fate was sealed that day.
I would forever be alone.
Not worthy of a mate.
