It was finally here.

The day Sirenna would be officially named Luna to my pack and before every alpha on the continent and more. I could feel the excitement of my pack threw the link. Everyone joyously waiting to accept Sirenna as there Luna and mate for all to see.

"You nervous?" Marcus asked as we did a perimeter check. Noting every member was at a crystal, was watching it, and keeping guard of his surroundings.

"Not to have Sirenna officially accepted into the pack, but of other things that are out of my control." I explained praising each of my pack members for their diligent work and to inform me directly no matter what of any changes.

"You mean Alpha Reynards pack of rogues and when they'll attack. Or when the disgraced Alpha will make an appearance?" Marcus stated as I hardened more inside at the thought that someone was out there to hurt my pack and even more my mate.

"I just am wondering where they are. Lucas had been informed of there movement but then a quarter of the way to the border, they all disappeared into thin air." I clipped out on a growl as we turned back to pack town. I was to meet up with Lex and one of our male Gramas for the purification ritual for Alphas. It was a simple but symbolic mission for Alphas. Reaching Lex's house to see the two men awaiting for me already on my arrival.

"Alpha Elijah." They said in unison with bows. Gama Helios holding a pure white fabric across his out stretch hands before me as he explained what I was to do. Only the male Gamas know of this tradition to perform for every Alpha for the pack to come. Helios even doing this same ritual with my father when my mother became Luna. It was a ritual that only Alphas went threw knowing Sirenna was as well going threw the same.

"This is the silk of the heavens. You are to shift and be blinded for your mission. You will go in search of the moon crystal orb that you will then carry to the mouth of the temple were a gold bowl will be waiting for you to drop into its holy water. Then once done, you will run to the lake where we will finish the purification of your body." He explained nodding in understanding as I shifted.

The white silk then was placed and tied around my head. Once I was secured I took off into the forest. Letting my wolf take full control to run with our instincts. I had only seen the moon stone ball once in my life as a pup. My father being the only wolf i've seen it with. So going in search of it threw my mountain of dense foliage and smells was going to be difficult to figure out how to find it. I knew Gama Helios and Zeta Lex were not the ones to hide it or I would have picked up on their scent instantly. No, all I smelt was trails upon trails of my scouts across the dirt. Even more that I couldn't see where I was heading either, just feeling I was going in circles aimlessly looking for a scent that would hopefully catch of it somehow by magic. And then I picked up one. A scent that was foreign but not being unfamiliar.

My father's scent.

It was a bittersweet memory of dark roasted truffles and fall smell that I could distinctly remember as my wolf sprinted in its direction instantly. As I took chase after the scent, I wondered how I had never picked up on it before after so many years. How it clunge to the ground only for now to appear when I needed it most. My instincts of my surrounds dodging trees and bushes as I went. I push myself hard as I leaped to descended on top of it like a scared rabbit that would bounce off suddenly. My paws instantly digging at the earth till they touched its cold smooth surface. My mouth taking hold of the stone as I went in search of another scent. One sweeter and wanted to hunt down.

My wolf was already on edge from being away from our mate, my beautiful Sirenna. Just the idea to be close to her just for a moment had me instantly reaching out with our bond to hers. Joy filling me as she opened her aura to mine, spreading out in the forest like a deacon to my senses. Quickly I made quick work of climbing the mountain too her. My paws eating up the distances just like it was yesterday when I would come to her in the morning. Just to get a glimpse of her beautiful smile.
