I needed to get away, that was the only logical thing I needed to do.

In Sirenna's leaving I had turned into what everyone heard to fear. My rage had intensified ten fold. I was snappy, cranky from lack of sleep, and a grade A monster. Hurting Kara was that last thing I wanted to do then turning on Lucas with his new mate seemed to be the last straw for me to realize my being here was not helping. My house now could attest to that being as everything was in shambles.

Everywhere I turned images of Sirenna's form would be there. The echo's of her bustling in the kitchen maddening. My office desk that gratefully Elizabeth had fixed I could no longer even sit at without remembering her beautiful blue eyes so bright with desire and love, her pink delectable lip being abused by her pearly white teeth. My bed was no better having the lingering smell of her upon the sheets. But her laughter was killing me that I was insanely conjuring up at random times of the day. My truck was another memory unable to step into it without picturing her behind the wheel ready to run me over with it.

So with instructions to Marcus and Lex I flew to the only place I knew would be good for me. A place I hadn't been to sense my parents death. In the distance laughter and happy screams filled the mountain of Christmas eve. All my packs homes decorated in twinkling lights with Christmas trees in there windows. The snow thick and in full force floating down as I took to the skies for the long journey ahead of me. A journey that I was not looking forward to but needed to be done.

Russia was no different from my mountains weather. Snow coated the expanse of the capital for the magical kingdom. The ancient castles landscape a frozen wonderland heavy on wide arches and tall towering structure that made up the royal palace. Wolves and other supernatural guards manning every post and stretch of land guarding there King. Out of each continent Kings he was the highest revered and feared in his early fifties still. He made my cousin look like a pup. But out of all he was my father's best friend and my mother's, making him the closeted I felt to having family I had.

"Prince Wolfcastle. What a surprise to see you here and on Christmas no less." The man that you would think would be showing grey hairs in the high sun still thickly black brushing above his shoulders stated cooly as I landed before him. His honey brown eyes still sharp in a full black attire and trench coat greeting me at the courtyard shifting to stand before him grabbing his outstretched arm.

"King Volkova it's been too long since I've seen your beautiful wasteland of white." Grinning seeing a crack in his blank expression that showed of a hard King but in true was generous and kind to his people.

"Volo to you and defendant wasteland." He replied sliding an arm across my shoulders being as he was two inches taller then I, guiding me into the large back doors of the palace. My bare feet making contacted with the hard beautiful detailed marble floor of golds, chocolate, and charcoal swirls.

"Then titles be dropped, more than anything I just need time away from my land to think." I retorted following to a large office as a fire roared in a fireplace truly fit for a King.

"Ah it wouldn't have to do with a intriguing mate of yours King Grayson showed last night." Volo stated smoothly walking from my side to the glass decanters pouring two drinks.

"She was at Kirustal eve royal ball last night!" I seether never wanting to kill my cousin more than I did right now. I had thought Dimitri would talk to him about Sirenna, I never once thought that he would find her and then bring her to him personally. He had planned this, I know it. That sneaky bastard flawlessly just put her in my world and I guaranty she didn't even realize how this would affect her in the future!

"He appeared with her no less introducing her to everyone at his side. She was stuck to him like glue the whole night chatting amongst the groups the King mingled with." Volo clarified making me growl by what Grey had been truly doing.
