Chapter Twelve

I've decided to just not have Courtney use the confessional since I haven't used it in the story for a long time anyway. Also if you just skipped to this chapter cause you were bored, I do have certain plots going on so you might not understand some stuff. Also this is a stupid boring challenge idea so if you get bored you can just scroll to a more interesting part. Sorry I don't have any gay, bi, or lesbian couples, I totally support that I just don't ship anyone from Total Drama with someone of the same gender. Which is weird since I have gay ships from every other TV show I watch lol. It has been so dang long since I updated and I'm sorry I'll be updating more often now I was camping then I went to the beach. I yawn and stretch my arms. Eva is standing next to her bed lifting weights. The other girls are still asleep. Eva is really strong. She has really big weights. I bet DJ would love to feel her arm muscles. Too bad their not together. But what if he doesn't like her back? What if he breaks her heart? She doesn't deserve to go through the horrible pain of heartbreak. I get up and go down to the ground. "So Eva, are you gonna make a move on DJ?" I ask, quietly since the other girls are sleeping. "No way! You don't even KNOW what my friends at the gym would think if I did!" She says. "Well if their gonna judge you, maybe their not very good friends." I say. Eva takes a second to think about what I just said. "Maybe you right. I mean, there's a lot of things I would like to do that I can't because my friends might judge me. Don't tell anyone, but I've always wanted a puppy. I can't get a cute fluffy lovey one if I don't want to get made fun of. I would have to get a tough dog that bites." She says. I'm glad she's comfortable confessing in me. "Yeah. And you can always get new friends. All you have to do is, well.... actually, I'm not really sure. I'm not the best at making friends." I admit. No! I'm not supposed to admit that! I'm supposed to act like I'm perfect! I can't let anyone see how insecure I am! That will only bring me down. "That's okay... neither am I, obviously. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think of you as a friend." She says. I don't know what to say so I hug her. She seems surprised then hugs me back. I smile as I pull away. Hugs are nice. My friend group used to hug a lot. Well, we were only a friend group for a little bit though. The group was me, Duncan, DJ, Bridgette and Geoff. We became a group at Playa De Losers when Duncan was finally eliminated. Geoff and Bridgette kissed a lot, but it was still nice. And I must confess that since they weren't putting any footage from Playa De Losers, me and Duncan were able to make out without seeming like an annoying couple like Geoff and Bridgette. I bet that he wishes he could do that with Gwen. Which makes me sad. But it shouldn't make me sad. Because I'm over him. Or at least, because I should be over him. Even if I'm not. Even though I'm not. Chris announces that its time for breakfast and the other girls wake up. At breakfast I sit in between DJ and Sadie. We chat about how were so glad the Heather was eliminated. I knew she would be eliminated. My next victim is Leshawna since she's a strong player. "So DJ, what do you think of Eva's cute top?" Asks Sadie. Idiot. "First of all its not a cute top and second of all why would he care what shirt I'm wearing?" Says Eva, and somehow she doesn't blush. I would have if it was me. "I like her shirt." Says DJ awkwardly as he blushes. "Wow. The brick house with a heart and Ms. anger management. I never would have guessed. But oppisites attract, right Courtney?" Says Duncan. "Sometimes. But sometimes it doesn't work cause their too different so one of them feels the need to kiss with someone who's more their type." I say. That was a nice comeback to his attempt at flirting! His grin turns into a frown. "Sorry to break it to you JUVIE, but just because Sadie asked what he thought of my top doesn't mean that we're a thing, stupid!" Eva says. Yeah, can Duncan please frick off? Why does he have to be like that, always teasing everyone? "Todays challenge will be in the woods so finish breakfast and go there!" Says Chris. We finish breakfast and go to the dock. "Todays challenge will be similar to the challenge in season one where you guys spent the night in the woods. But this time you will be in boats! Each team gets a boat with no motor, and you will drift off to sea! You'll have to be careful of waterfalls and dangerous water animals. You'll also have to get dinner, or you can just not eat! You'll have to find a way to get back to shore because whoever gets back here anytime after seven AM tomorrow with all their players wins! Your allowed to stop at any islands you find besides this one if you want. Also, your allowed to sabotage the other teams by hitting their boats with flying objects or taking hostages from their team so they can't win since they don't have all their players." Says Chris. If we win this, the other team will only have three players! Wow, we're doing really well. There are two boats pulled up at the dock. We get in a boat. There are two. Their medium sized and have a deck and a tiny room with a door. I think its for sleeping but there's not enough room for all of us. There's no bathroom. There's also no way I'm peeing in the lake. I only go to the bathroom if there's a toilet. I guess if I need to go I'll just have to hold it. We all stand on the dock of our motor less boat then Chef pushes it off into the water. We all sit in a circle. "Dude this is like, the most boring challenge we've ever done." Says Geoff. "We should play a game to entertain ourselves. Even though last time we played a game to entertain ourselves I had to call Gwen an ugly B word which I did not want to do." Says Bridgette. "EEEE! OMG! I like, have a like, idea! Lets play spin the bottle!" Says Katie. "We don't have a bottle." I say. Duncan pulls a pocket knife out of his pocket and cuts a chunk of wood out of the door to the small room and carves it into a bottle. Dang it I didn't even want to play. But I finally got friends and I want to seem cool enough to play. I'll never admit that though. There's a lot of stuff about myself that I'll never admit. "That's awesome Duncan!" Says DJ. "Well I got a lot of practice carving in prison when I carved D plus C into the wall like, a hundred and fifty times." He replies. "I think you just mispronounced a letter its G, not C." I state. "Nope, I pronounced the C right." He says. My cheeks turn red. "Whatever let's just play. But what if someone lands on someone who's already dating?" I ask, not wanting Geoff and Bridgette to have to deal with that. "Its fine if someone kisses Geoff on the cheek cause I know their just friends and I know he loves me." Says Bridgette. "Same." Says Geoff. "What if a boy lands on a boy or a girl lands on a girl?" Asks Duncan as we continue to drift off, losing sight of the Gophers, who drifted another way. "Then a boy kisses a boy or a girl kisses a girl." Says Bridgette. I wouldn't mind kissing a Killer Bass girl since I'm straight and our feeling towards each other are completely in a friend way so it wouldn't mean anything. And although it would be awkward, Geoff and DJ are my friends so that would make it less awkward if I had to kiss one of them. But Duncan... well lets just hope I don't land on him. "I'll like, go first. Lets go in a circle going left." Says Katie. Duncan hands Katie the bottle. She puts it in the center and gives it a hard spin. As it slows down, it lands on Bridgette. They both start giggling. "At least it wasn't a boy." Says Katie. She turns to her right (That's where Bridgette's sitting) and pecks her on the cheek. "No dude, you have to kiss her on the lips that's the point!" Says Geoff. "I know but I thought that since she has a boyfriend I only have to kiss her on the cheek!" Says Katie. "Yeah, but Bridgette already told me she was straight and I know that you two are friends, so its fine with me if you kiss her on the lips." Says Geoff. "Oh, like, okay." Says Katie and her and Bridgette giggle as Katie gives her a speedy peck on the lips. "Oh, we forgot to go over what happens if you don't do it. If you chicken and don't kiss the person it lands on, you have to do a dare that the group comes up with." Says Bridgette. Dang it! That means that if I chicken and don't kiss someone I'm obviously gonna get dared to make out with Duncan. EEEW! Sadie spins the bottle. It lands on Duncan. "Like, OMG! I'm like, SO not kissing him, cause like one of my friends who would like to remain unknown like, kinda likes you and I'm not like GWEN, I don't kiss peoples boyfriends or like, people my friends like." Says Sadie. That idiot. I'm mad at her, but I don't feel betrayed because I know that she meant well and she was simply stupid enough to think that the boys wouldn't know who this anonymous friend was. "OOOOOH I wonder who it is!" Says Duncan, very sarcastically. "Yeah, too bad you won't know cause we swore secrecy." Says Katie, still not understanding. I look in my lap. I should have known that Katie and Sadie were too stupid to keep a secret. Even if they are be good friends. "You have to kiss him or else you have to do the dare." I say, unsure of what to say. Duncan might have thought I was over him. Now that hope is crushed. Now I am crushed. I feel tears welling in my eyes. I push them back. I hope no one saw. "You can go without me, I'm gonna really quickly check out that small room." I say. I go in, shut the door and start to cry as quietly as I can. I hope nobody can hear me. I feel arms wrap around me. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry about what happened." Says Bridgette. "Yeah, I'm fine, why would I care that she just leaked my biggest secret?" I say sarcastically. "Look Courtney. Duncan likes you a lot. He really really likes you so why does it matter if he knows you like him back?" Asks Bridgette. "Because then he gets the satisfaction of knowing that I still like him after he betrayed me. When he cheated on me, it just broke my heart. I couldn't sleep at night and I just cried and cried. I was completely torn apart. I don't wanna be with someone who makes me feel that way." I say. "That makes sense. I'm sorry. I guess I was just thinking about how I cheated on Geoff and we still worked out, so he must have not taken it too hard. But maybe he felt that way too, and I just didn't know cause he seemed more mad then upset." She says, tearing up. "It's okay, everyone makes mistakes." I say. Geoff walks in. "Are you guys almost-", he says, then realizes the tears streaming down our cheeks. "Oh sorry did I just interrupt your emotional moment?" He says. "It's fine we were just about to come out anyways." I say then wipe my tears away as we exit the room. Everyone is still sitting in a circle. "We decided to wait till you guys got back to play." Says Eva. "Oh thanks." Says Bridgette. I can tell that Duncan is trying to make eye contact with me, but I avoid it. "Okay well kiss him Sadie." I say. "But-" She starts. "Just kiss him." Then she does I pretend to be very interested in my fingernails so I won't have to see my love kiss someone else. "Gross." Duncan and Sadie say at the same time. Eva's turn! She spins the bottle and my faith in humanity is restored. It lands on DJ. DJ people! Yes I'm so happy. All the girls make eye contact. "Okay, ready?" Says DJ. "Ooooh, someone's excited!" Comments Duncan the stupid jerk. Eva glares at him and DJ blushes. HE BLUSHED. Yeeees! Then she kisses him on the lips. Even though he doesn't have to, he kisses back! Their kiss lasts fifteen seconds! Don't judge me for counting. "Dudes! I think there might be some chemistry here!" Says Geoff. "I do too. Eva, will you be my girlfriend? Cause I really like you." Says DJ. Sadie and Katie break everyone's eardrums with squealing. "Uh, I, I guess." Says Eva, then they blush and look into each other's eyes. I can see the spark. The same spark that left my heart destroyed. But DJ isn't a bad boy. He has a heart of gold. He'll be a good boyfriend. Now it's Geoff's turn. It lands on me. Seriously? That's disgusting. No offense Bridgey. "Kay." Says Geoff, then awkwardly kisses my cheek since Bridgette won't want him to kiss a girl on the lips. We both flinch then it's over. Now it's Duncan's turn. Luck, please don't fail me now. It lands on DJ. "I give permission for them to kiss on the lips." Says Eva with an evil grin on her face. "Oh come on, seriously babe?" Says DJ, and Eva nods. So Duncan pecks DJ on the lips. "Ewww that's the weirdest thing I've ever done." Says Duncan. "Same man, same!" Says DJ. Bridgette's turn. It lands on Katie. "Seriously again? Does this bottle like, ship us?" Says Katie and everyone cracks up. Bridgette leans across the circle and taps Katie's mouth with her lip. My turn! Dang, I'm nervous. It lands on Eva. "DJ, will you please be an overprotective boyfriend and say we have to kiss on the cheek only?" Says Eva. "Nope, sorry babe." Says DJ. "Dang it." Says Eva, then I peck her on the lips. DJ's turn! He has to kiss Geoff. Wow, that means he kissed all the boys on the team. LOL.

I know this is so short but I won't be able to update for a week since I'm going to a summer camp so I just wanna get something out there. The camp I'm going to is called Camp Kesem, I recommend it to anyone with a parent with cancer. Its free since sometimes the chemo bills cost so much that kids can't afford camp. My dad has stage four cancer and its really bad and the doctors don't think he's gonna get better. Its been very emotional for me but this camp really helps since I can meet other kids going through the same thing. See ya soon love u guys!
