Total Drama Island 2.0

Chapter One

I'm on the bus ride to the boat that will take me back to Wawanakwa Island, where I'll be on the new season of Total Drama. Apparently, they put it back together after it exploded. I have no idea how they did that, maybe they just put a new island there and said it was Wawanakwa, or maybe they actually fixed it, somehow. I'm not very excited to be on the new season, but I'm going so I can win and finally prove to everyone that I'm the best, cause I am. If there's one thing I've learned from past seasons is that there are toxic friends (Gwen) and there are good friends (Bridgette), and that you have to be careful who you trust (Duncan). And just so we're clear, I never liked Al or Tyler. I was flirting with Tyler to make Duncan jealous, not because I wanted to get back together with him but because I wanted his feelings to be hurt like mine were, but the minute I remembered that Tyler had a girlfriend (Lindsay), I stopped flirting with him. I'm not friends with Lindsay, and her stupidity annoys me, but I would never want to make her feel the way Gwen made me feel. Anyway, so in secret, I made a deal with Al and Heather. If Heather let Al and me pretend like we were together and if Al pretended to be together with me, I would owe them both a big favor. Al agreed and Heather reluctantly agreed, but they didn't use their favors during All Stars, so I still owe them. I hope what they make me do isn't that bad.

The bus stops. This is my stop. I stand up and walk out of the bus, thanking the driver on the way out. I'm not nervous to see any of the other competitors, except Scott. We haven't talked since All Stars, so I'm a little nervous to see him again. I don't know who the rest of the cast for this season is, so he might not even be here. I hope Duncan isn't here. I walk towards the dock where we will get on the boat. As I approach, I can see Sadie and Katie on the dock along with many other people. I step onto the dock then sit down on the floor to wait for the boat to arrive. People around me are chatting, or just standing there waiting. Sadie and Katie keep squealing and its getting really annoying. No one seems to notice me. I wish I had a watch so I could see what time it is. I look around at everyone, and realize that they all have something in common. They were all in season one. I wonder if we're doing a season with just the original cast. That would mean that I don't have to worry about Scott or my favor that I have to do for Al. It would also mean that Duncan is coming. Ugh. I look up and around and see Gwen and Trent chatting on the side of the dock. Trent was way too forgiving to her! Then again, he didn't get cheated on. But he should hate her for what she did to me! What a jerk. I see a boat approaching the dock and stand up. Then, a short old man steps off the boat with a megaphone. "Alright everyone listen up!" He yells into the megaphone and everyone quiets down. "Get on the boat one at a time. When you get in the boat, sit on the floor till we get to our destination. We're not stopping if one of you stupid teenagers falls off, so remain seated!" Then he goes back onto the boat and goes up to the steering wheel. I guess he's the driver. Everyone gets on the boat and sits down. I sit on the edge, in between Bridgette and the rail. "Oh hi Courtney!" Says Bridgette. "Hi!" I say back, then she turns around and starts chatting with Geoff, who is sitting next to her. I feel the boat start to rumble beneath my butt. "Wait!" I look over on the dock. Duncan is running up to the boat. Dang it he's here. And of course he's late. Typical Duncan. I roll my eyes. He jumps from the dock onto the boat and sits down next to DJ. At least he's not sitting by me. The boat is big but kinda crowded. The boat starts moving.

When we arrive we see Chef and Chris waiting for us. "Welcome campers! Here's how this is going to work. Your gonna get off one at a time and I'll introduce you when you get off." Eva gets off first. "Welcome back Eva! She's tough and mean and no one likes her!" Chris says. Eva glares and puts her stuff down. After Bridgette, I step off the boat. "She's got a lot of lawyers, and they fix a lot of her problems for her, but they couldn't fix her broken heart when she got cheated on with her friend on international television, and then dumped by her new boyfriend, on international television, its Courtney!" Chris happily exclaims. "Actually Chris, my heart is not broken and don't care about Scott or Duncan!" I state, then set my bag down. One by one, everyone gets introduced. Sure enough, its everyone from the original cast. Except Zeke, of course. Then, another boat comes up, and Zeke steps off, but he's not a zombie! "And last but not least its homeschooled Zeke, who was dezombified by a professional scientist!" Says Chris. Ugh. Great. Annoying sexist guy is back. "Ay guys!" He says. No one replies to him. Zeke joins us and Chris turns toward us. "Time to split into teams! For this season, we are doing a season one remake, but with much harder challenges. So its Killer Bass vs Screaming Gophers!" Noooo! I have to be on a team with Duncan the two timing jerkface! The Killer Bass all stand in a lump and so do the screaming gophers. Chris turns to the camera. "See what their first challenge is on Total. Drama. Island 2.0!"
