Chapter Fourteen

"GET UP!" The sound of Chris's annoying voice blasts through the loudspeakers on the island, waking me up. Me and my cabin mates all mumble curse words and groan as we force ourselves to get out of bed. We change our clothes and as we groggily walk to the bathroom to brush our teeth and hair, Chris yells 'move faster, lazies!' through the loudspeaker. I hate that man. Not only is he cruel and forces us to risk our lives, he is also just annoying as heck. We all speed up so he'll leave us alone. He's probably watching us from his computers, waiting for someone to slow down so he can do something stupid like drop explosives in front of them. When we get to the bathrooms, Gwen is already there. She's still sleeping in the Screaming Gopher cabin, since none of the girls on our team have been eliminated so there's no room for her. If one of us gets eliminated though, she'll sleep in our cabin. Which will suck for the simple reason that I don't like her. Gwen gives me a your-worse-than-Regina-George glare as I walk in, to which I respond with a smirk. I then proceed to brush my hair and teeth, thoroughly, because I have great hygiene. I also wash my face. As Sadie, Katie, Bridgette and Gwen start to put on their mascara, me and Eva head down to the dining hall.

"Your lucky you two got here on time, the other girls are about to regret that they didn't!" Chris says, an evil grin across his stupid face. He presses a button and I hear horrified screams.

"What did you do to them?" I ask, disgusted that he would hurt those nice girls. Well, besides Gwen. I don't give a dang what he does to her.

"You'll see," he laughs. Me and Eva both roll our eyes. As we walk over to a table, DJ invites us to sit with him and Geoff.

"Sorry, we don't sit with competition. Not that your really any competition, losers," I joke.

"Just you wait," Geoff says, then raises from his chair and declares: "Me and DJ shall be victorious!" Eva laughs hysterically, like Geoff had just made a hilarious joke.

"I see how it is, Eva! But guess what? Y'all don't stand a chance against me and the Geoffster!" DJ says, making Eva laugh at them even harder. She then proceeds to sit down at the other table. I follow her and sit next to her. Trent is at the far right end of the table that Geoff and DJ are sitting at, and Cody is on the far left end. He's still visibly mad about yesterday, which is good because that throws him, Trent and Gwen off. We wait as Chef finishes making breakfast. As everyone stands up to get breakfast (if you would even call that inedible crap breakfast), the rest of the girls walk in. They're all covered in thorns and rashes.

"My gosh what did you do to them?!" Geoff asks.

"I dropped a poison ivy bush mixed with a thorn bush on them from a helicopter. I had to break the roof of the girls bathroom to do it, so all the girls will have to use the confessional toilet as a bathroom for now," Chris says, looking very proud of himself.

"UGH! Seriously?" I whine.

"Yeah, seriously," he says, grinning. All the girls groan. DJ and Geoff start laughing.

"Shut up! At least no one in our alliance has been eliminated! Whatcha gonna do, vote one of us off with your two person alliance?" Eva savagely remarks, shutting them up.

Everyone forces down the disgusting breakfast, which we still haven't gotten used to, and for some of us, this is our fourth season! I guess there's no getting used to that level of disgusting. Me and Eva are helping pull thorns out of Bridgette, Sadie and Katie when Chris pulls out his hand held loudspeaker.

"You have ten minutes to finish eating, then I'll meet you all at the dock! Be there on time; there's a lot more where those thorn and poison ivy bushes came from!" Everyone starts to eat faster besides me, Eva and Trent. Me and Eva are still pulling thorns from the ex-Killer Bass girls and Trent is still pulling thorns out of Gwen over at the other table. I guess us three will be skipping breakfast today. Everyone makes sure to keep a good eye on the clock so we don't get poison ivy-ed or thorned, and when ten minutes is up we're off to the dock as fast as we can.
