Demeter's Secret

A sneak peek of a Yu-Gi-Oh! anime I've been working on :). Based on reviews I will publish the enitire anime/storyline on here from beginning to end. So please comment, feedback would be much appreciated. Enjoy!

"Demeter!" exclaims Kiram , "Where is he?"

Demeter looks at Kiram and simply smiles. "Demeter," begins Railo, "Where did you take Ryou?"

Demeter grows a frown on his face and he looks down to the ground. Shortly after, Demeter looks up at them. "I can assume that all of you must be pretty angry at me for my recent actions. I don't know what has gotten into me lately. I haven't been feeling myself", says Demeter.

"Cut the act", responds Kiram, "tell me where you've taken my brother right now!"

"I assure you I'm speaking the truth", Demeter insists, "Well I admit there is one explanation for all of this."

"Well spill it dude", says Dante.

"Perhaps after a little duel I will explain", says Demeter.

Kiram grips his fists and approaches Demeter. "I dont have time for stupid games!" exclaims Kiram, "Where is he! Why did you take him!"

Kiram is held back by both Dante and Triton.

"If it's a duel you want then so be it. I'll take you on Demeter", says Railo.

"Very well. Thank you Railo. I always did admire your friendly nature," says Demeter as he sets his duel disk.

"Remember what's at stake here Railo. Whether Demeter is on our side or not you cannot let your guard down", says Triton.

"Got it", replies Railo.

"You ready yet?" asks Demeter.

"You bet'cha", responds Railo with ecstasy.

Both Railo's and Demeter's duel disks are set to 4,000 Life Points each.

"Well let the duel begin", says Demeter, "I'll go first. I draw". Demeter looks at the cards in his hands and smiles. "Perfect. I'll start this off by activating the spell Future Xyz! By paying half of my life points, this card allows me to Xyz Summon by using monsters in my deck as overlay units", says Demeter.

"He can Xyz Summon with monsters in his deck?" asks Terra, surprised by the idea.

"Bring it on Demeter", says Railo.

"Don't worry, I will. From my deck I overlay two level four Sinister Ghouls and level four Sinister Golem", begins Demeter, "With these three monsters I build the overlay network and Xyz Summon Sinister Dark Demon!" (Rank 4 0ATK/0DEF)

"His monster has zero attack points", Winona notes.

"Don't let it fool you", says Dante, "It may be part of Demeter's strategy".

"You payed half your life points for that? ha", says Railo as he begins to laugh. "I thought you were going to be a challenge".

"Never underestimate your opponent Railo", responds Demeter, "Especially when they know something you don't."

"What's that supposed to mean?" asks Railo in a serious tone.

"Worry not. You will find out soon enough. I promise. For now I'll set two cards face down and end my turn," finishes Demeter.

"I draw", begins Railo, "I summon Photon Cerberus" (Level 3 1300ATK/600DEF). "Next with Photon Cerberus I will attack your stinkin' demon. Go Tri-Photon Burst!"
