Afternoon

"Why won't you just answer the question?" Yugyeom whines, tugging on Jeongguk's sleeve like a child who didn't get what they wanted.

The two were walking home from school, like they usually did, backpacks on and one earphone each boy, blasting their favourite tunes.

"Because... I don't know, it's weird. You're weird." Jeongguk answers truthfully, shrugging.

"One day you will answer that question." Yugyeom points, smiling mischievously.

"Yeah, Yeah. Whatever you say." Jeongguk nods.

"But let's hear more about that neighbour of yours." Yugyeom starts.

Before Jeongguk could answer, Jeongguk took a corner into a different street, parting ways and walking away from Yugyeom.

Yugyeom just stops in his path, "Hey!" He shouts.

"Bye Yugyeom!" Jeongguk yells, waving goodbye with his back turned, sticking in his other earphone in and walking the rest of the way to his house.

Jeongguk comes across the little street stores and eateries, the wind blowing mildly, moving the leaves with it.

After a while of walking, the music that was blasted through his earphones, suddenly turned to silence as it had been pulled out by someone other than himself.

"What are we listening to?" A voice says behind Jeongguk.

Jeongguk immediately turns around to see the person who rudely pulled out his earphones, narrowing his eyebrows in annoyance and anger.

It was Myungsoo.

Jeongguk instantly sighs at the sight, he definitely wasn't in the mood to be teased or messed with.

Myungsoo snatches Jeongguk's phone out of his hands, along with the earphones connected to it.

"Give it back Myungsoo. This is getting stupid now." Jeongguk warns, as Myungsoo stands there smugly, holding Jeongguk's phone with a smile. He looked slightly red in the face and his eyes looked somewhat puffy.

"This?" Myungsoo raises his eyebrows, pointing to the phone.

Before Jeongguk could answer Myungsoo's stupid question, Myungsoo throws it on the ground with incredible force, the screen already cracked by the throw.

"Oops." Myungsoo pretends, entertained by the look on Jeongguk's face when he saw his phone break on the concrete.

"Anyways mate, I need you to do an assignment for me, it's due tomorrow." Myungsoo smiles, changing the subject while looking at Jeongguk's even more annoyed face.

Jeongguk who was still fixated on the cracked phone on the ground, looks up slowly at Myungsoo, clearly not amused.

"I'm not going to do your assignment. Do it yourself." Jeongguk says sternly, eyebrows narrowed, picking up his phone, beginning to walk away.

"Where do you think you're going?" Myungsoo questions, moving closer to Jeongguk. The both of them were close to an alleyway and a one block away from the series of stores and eateries, even though they were close to people filled places, there was not a soul to be seen.

Jeongguk ignores whatever Myungsoo was saying, inspecting his cracked phone, trying to turn it on while speed walking away from Myungsoo.

"Hey!" Myungsoo yells, grabbing the back of Jeongguk's backpack, pulling his whole body closer towards him, almost making Jeongguk fall backwards.
