Mid-afternoon
Music blasted. Ear phones. No distractions.
Jeongguk was walking home from school, listening to his favourites, he just said goodbye to Yugyeom before they both parted ways, and made their way home.
He suddenly feels his phone vibrating like crazy in his pocket, Jeongguk pulls out his phone and looks at who was calling him. It was Taehyung.
He picks up the call immediately, talking through his earphones.
"Hyung?"
"Hey Jeonggukie." Taehyung responds, sounding like he was in a good mood.
"What's up?" Jeongguk smiles, happy to hear from his hyung.
"Well, there's a party on saturday, and I was hoping you could come. It would be cool." Taehyung requests.
If there was one thing Jeongguk wasn't experienced in besides sex, drugs and girls, it was partys. He had never been to one, and was never planning on to anytime soon.
"Ah...Who's going?" Jeongguk questions before anything else.
"Oh, not much people you would know, but Young k, and some of my friends..." Taehyung explains.
"Oh, I'm not sure." Jeongguk says quietly.
"Come on Gukie, there's someone I want you to meet." Taehyung pleads, even though he wasn't even sure if he wanted to invite Gukie in the first place, but now he was practically begging him to come.
"Will you be there?"
"Of course" Taehyung laughs.
"Oh and suzie. You remember that girl i met in the ice cream parlour?" Taehyung questions.
Jeongguk's smile immediately fades and his fists clench. Suzie? He was bringing fucking Suzie?
He hated her guts.
"Oh." Jeongguk responds awkwardly.
"Don't worry Gukie. She's okay." Taehyung smiles.
Okay? Okay!?
"And you can bring someone too, Gukie" Taehyung informs
"Bye Gukie, I have to go." Taehyung ends, even though Gukie didn't actually give him an answer.
It sounded like someone else was with him on the other line.
Jeongguk sighs, looking at his phone. Somehow, some way. He had to get rid of this 'suzie' girl, or at least get Taehyung to realise what he was missing.
After all the days Jeongguk had spent with Taehyung, he realised something. He liked Taehyung. He didn't care if he was five years older. He didn't care if he was his boss.
He liked Kim Taehyung.
He liked Kim Taehyung a lot.
And a girl is not going to stand in the way of that.
