Late Morning
It was the day of Taehyung's Uncle's funeral that Jeongguk so kindly agreed to go to, to support Taehyung and be there for him. It was the weekend, and the two boys were in the midst of getting into their tuxedos at Taehyung's apartment, getting ready for the funeral.
Taehyung definitely seemed anxious and nervous by the whole thing, not wanting to see his parents and be asked questions for why he left, or where he had been this whole time. He fears their disappointment, and has avoided them for five years, and now, here he was, ready to see both of their faces, who wouldn't be nervous?
Jeongguk was stood in front of the mirror, straightening up his black tuxedo, and fixing his tie, as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. Taehyung stood behind, and a few metres away from Guk, close to wall.
Taehyung struggles with his tie, attempting to tie it, but it wasn't working out, pulling and untying the black strand of fabric over and over again, the lack of achievement causing him to grunt in annoyance and anger. Hearing the anger of Taehyung causes Jeongguk to turn around and realise that Taehyung's anger may have only been there to hide the true anxiousness and nervousness behind it.
Guk walks up to Taehyung, snatching his tie out of Taehyung's hands harshly, pushing him, so that Taehyung's back was pressed against the wall, getting him to snap the fuck out of it, and look up, staring deeply into Jeongguk's eyes with caution, their faces just inches apart.
"Hey." Jeongguk whispers harshly to Taehyung. "It's going to be fine, okay babe?" Jeongguk speaks softly and sweetly, beginning to tie Tae's tie for him, folding and flipping the material, doing a neat job.
Watching Jeongguk concentrated and highly youthful looking face, slightly calmed the nervousness Taehyung felt deeply. His eyes scanned Jeongguk's glowing, soft skin and utterly luscious eyelashes that coated his eyelids, he felt grateful to have such a beautiful person in his life, let alone be his boyfriend, he never wanted anyone in anyway hurt this precious boy.
The calmness soon faded from Taehyung's mind, negative worries and thoughts flooding back in. Sweat oozed from his palms rapidly, and his clenched his fists until the tough skin turned a lighter colour.
After Jeongguk finished tying Taehyung's tie, he looks up at him. Taehyung was staring into the distance with a clearly bothered look on his face and clenched fists that were shaking from the tension.
Jeongguk places his hand softly over Taehyung's clenched fist, causing Taehyung to slowly put his hard clenching at a delicate ease. "Hyung." Jeongguk whispers.
Drawing Taehyung's attention, his eyes revert back to Jeongguk's face from the sound of his name. Jeongguk then lifts up his hand and brushes Taehyung's hair out of his eyes.
"I'll be right there next to you." Jeongguk assures.
Taehyung shows a small and forced smile, grabbing both sides of Jeongguk's tuxedo jacket, and pulling him in closer, for a hug, Jeongguk gladly hugging back, resting his chin on Taehyung's shoulder.
Jeongguk then pulls back after a few seconds, planting a quick kiss on Taehyung's cheek, and walking to go put his belongings in his pocket.
Taehyung walks over to his chest of drawers that were close to his bed, pulling open the top drawer and taking out a full packet of cigarettes. He often did this because he believed it will calm him down and relieve stress, which was the complete opposite.
