Jeongguk thought that Taehyung must be at the ice cream parlour, right?

Pushing the glass doors to the parlour, a desperate look plastered on Jeongguk's face. He could see Namjoon behind the counter and Jin sitting on top of the counter, both of them chatting away, but no sign of Taehyung.

Jeongguk narrows his eyebrows, heading for the change rooms. He peers his head around the corner and not a soul was in sight.

He sighs, walking out to be greeted by the two other boys, "Hi Gukie" Namjoon smiles, along with Jin too.

"Have you guys seen Taehyung?" Jeongguk bursts, not returning the smile or a greeting, his mind only concentrated on one thing.

"Um, No. We haven't seen him in two days." Jin replies, thinking that Jeongguk would've known where Taehyung had been for two days.

"You haven't seen him either?" Namjoon wonders, looking at Jeongguk who was thinking as he looked down at the ground.

Jeongguk doesn't reply, rushing out of the parlour without a word, shutting the door behind him, making Jin and Namjoon narrow there eyebrows in confusion.

-----

Jeongguk didn't want to overreact, but Taehyung would usually reply by now, and both Jin and Namjoon haven't seen him either. Jeongguk was worried something might of happened to Taehyung. He remembered that Young k was staying at his apartment, so he decided to take the bus to Taehyung's apartment to check if he was there.

As he sits on the mediumly filled bus, he texts away to Hoseok, to ask him as well.

Gukie:
Hoseok-hyung, have you seen Taehyung recently?

                  Hoseok:
                  No actually, why?

Jeongguk takes a deep breath, rising up from his seat, thanking the bus driver before walking off the bus and making his way to Taehyung's apartment.

--

He pounds on Taehyung's door, "Hyung? Hyung, are you there?" Jeongguk slightly shouts, pressing his ear up against the wooden door, he hear nothing, just eerie silence.

"Hyung?..." He mumbles. "Young k?" He raises one brow, pressing his two warm hands on the dry wood of Taehyung's door. He missed him, he never thought he would miss him so easily, it had only been two days, and Jeongguk missed his deep voice and his soft skin, and his precious words.

He gives up, turning around, leaning his back against Taehyung's door, where could he possibly be?

His lazily eyes wander up to the ceiling, watching the lonely fluorescent rectangle light flicker constantly. He thought about the possibilities. When it finally came to his mind. He scans through all his memories, when he comes across the memory of when Jeongguk went to find Taehyung at the drug house.

Why didn't he think of it before, of course. The drug house. And that's why Young k isn't here either.

-----

By now, he was just desperate, and he didn't the time or the patience to deal with those rude fuckers Taehyung calls his 'friends' at the drug house. He swore the only good person in that drug house was Taehyung.

Jeongguk pounds on the door of the drug house, huffing and puffing from all the running he did to actually get to the drug house.

The worn-out door swings open, a intoxicated guy standing limply behind it, it was the exact same guy from last time Jeongguk came here. His hair was messed up, and all that hit Jeongguk's nostrils was drugs, alcohol, smoke, and a disgusting musky scent coming off this guy's funky smelling, swampy armpits, making Jeongguk cringe at the scent and squint his eyes.

He shakes his head, ready to deal with whatever this guy had to say, "Where the fuck is Taehyung?" Jeongguk bursts, not as shy and afraid as he used to be, Taehyung obviously meaning a lot to him.

"Whoa, calm down kid." The guy mutters, blinking sleepily, finding it hard to process too many things at once, looking like he had all the different kind of illegal drugs in his system. And boy, did Jeongguk hate being called kid.

Jeongguk rolls his eyes, stepping forward and pushing past the guy harshly, causing him to stumble to the side. "Hey!" He spits, pointing at Jeongguk in anger.

Jeongguk ignores him, examining the whole house for Taehyung, the whole house was layered in a slight haze of smoke lingering in the air, bunches of males were sprawled out in the living room area, Jeongguk scans all their faces, looking for Taehyung's.

He didn't see Taehyung's, but he did see Young k's, and Young k saw Jeongguk too, a cigarette stuck to the side of his lip.

"Guk? Whatta you doin' here?" Young k mumbles, stuck in between two males sitting on both sides of him, who were chatting over the top of him.

"Where's Taehyung?" Jeongguk shouts over the voices, asking Young k in desperation.

As soon as Jeongguk said the name Taehyung, Young k's facial expression changed, from giddy, to just downright empathetic, discouraging Jeongguk greatly.

Young k's eyes drift up to the ceiling, nodding up to the ceiling, Jeongguk's eyes follow, looking up to the ceiling, and then over to the staircase leading to the top level, Young k was signalling that Taehyung must be up there.

Jeongguk flashes a half smile, turning to the empty staircase, he reaches for the railing, beginning to trot up the stairs.

Once he was up there, his eyes look at the rooms that made up the top level. Dirty, porridge-coloured carpet under his converse, all that he could see was two rooms and a hallway.

One of the room's door was ajar, with peering rays of afternoon light, it was the room closest to the staircase.

He takes a deep breath, creeping up close to the ajar door, showing one eye in the gap of the door. The room inside was extremely bright compared to the dark hallway Jeongguk was standing in.

He pushes the door forward, the wood creaking as he did so. The medium-sized, bright room is revealed to him.

A look of worry washes onto his face, seeing Taehyung lying on his back on the bed. His eyes were closed, and he was shirtless, tightish jeans hugging loosely around his waist, his underwear band revealing.

He didn't look good at all, his eyes were wet with tears, his cheeks were stained with tears, and his whole face was dusted with a red tinge.

Jeongguk rushes over to him, kneeling by his side, reaching out for his shoulder, attempting to shake him awake.

"Hyung, Hyung, what happened?" Jeongguk worries, looking at Taehyung in sorrow, he wanted desperately to be there for him, to comfort him. He had never seen Taehyung in this kind of state, ever.

Taehyung's eyes slowly open, looking at Jeongguk. But his eyes didn't show their usual friendly, warm glow they usually show when he saw Jeongguk.

"Get off Jeongguk. Just go." Taehyung sniffs, moving away from Jeongguk's touch, shuffling away from Jeongguk.

"What happened?" Jeongguk narrows his eyebrows, lifting up from his kneeling position, he knew he was serious when he used his full first name.

"Just- leave me alone!" Taehyung suddenly shouts, leaving Jeongguk in confusion, Taehyung had never talked to him in this way.

"But--"

"I don't want you to be here!" Taehyung raises his voice, making Jeongguk flinch.

"Hyung, I---" Jeongguk mumbles, going closer to Taehyung.

"Get the fuck out!" Taehyung shouts even louder, making Jeongguk step back from how loud he shouted it.

Jeongguk stands there speechless, looking at Taehyung with sadness, he didn't know what happened to Taehyung, and he didn't know how he was supposed to help.

Jeongguk looks down, turning around slowly, and walking out of the room, trotting down the stairs.

He takes one more look back up at the staircase, before turning around and storming out of there, tears ready to fall from his eyes.

Young k sees Jeongguk storm out, looking down sadly, looking at the staircase.
