Morning
"Whoa, what happened to you?" Yugyeom asks, eyes widening as he leaned in closer to the hungover teen resting his tired head on the desk. The two were sat in the first period class, english.
"Ughhhhhh." Jeongguk grunts, he felt terrible, not just because of the hangover, but from the embarrassing memories of last night flooding into his head every once in awhile.
He couldn't remember what happened to him after he threw up. But he knew that Courtney had to drop him home and drag his drunk body into bed without his mum noticing, after their intense conversation this morning.
He didn't know what happened with Taehyung, and what he did after Jeongguk threw up on his shoes. But he knew that he was embarrassed and didn't want to face Taehyung at this moment.
"I embarrassed myself, Yugyeom. Real bad." Jeongguk groans, shaking his messy hair in annoyance.
"What have you been doing lately, anyway? you've been acting different. Like you changed your hair, clothes, you've been hanging out with older people, you haven't been handing in your homework? It's not like you." Yugyeom blabs, listing all the things that were different about his friend.
"It doesn't matter. But i'll tell you one thing, I threw up all over this guy's carpet and i feel horrible." Jeongguk explains, feeling ashamed, imagining Hoseok cleaning up his throw up and crying.
"Really? Did you apologize?" Yugyeom questions.
"I couldn't, I was ready to pass out and can't remember what happened after that"
"Were you drunk or something?" Yugyeom raises his eyebrows, saying a bit too loud, making the teacher look up from her desk.
"Ummm..."
"Jeongguk!" Yugyeom shouts, making students turn to see who was making the ruckus.
"Shhhh~" Jeongguk gestures, holding his index finger to his lips.
"But i'll tell you the weird thing." Jeongguk whispers, gesturing Yugyeom to lean in closer.
"I woke up this morning and his name was in my contacts." Jeongguk whispers.
"Whoa."
"Maybe you should call him to tell him you're sorry." Yugyeom suggests.
"Yeah, maybe i should. I only met him last night, i should at least be polite." Jeongguk nods.
"Boys, back to work." The teacher bellows, looking straight at Jeongguk and Yugyeom.
The both look back down at their work.
"Psst~" Yugyeom whispers, making Jeongguk look back up at him.
"But what going on with you and Courtney? I thought you hated her." Yugyeom whispers.
Jeongguk flashes Yugyeom a confused face. "How do-"
"I heard people saying that you guys hit it off." Yugyeom explains.
"Well don't listen to them because it's not true."
"Ok ok I believe you." Yugyeom assures, smiling.
-
"Hi, is this Hoseok?" Jeongguk speaks through the phone, making sure the contact was correct.
"Speaking." He responds clearly, sounding like how he did the night of the party.
"Its Jeongguk. I don't know if you remember me from last night."
"Of course I remember you, how could I forget? You were a blast." He laughs.
"Listen, I'm sorry about your carpet."
"Oh, it's okay. I forgive you."
"How can I make it up to you?" Jeongguk asks politely.
"Umm... well there is one thing." he responds.
"Yeah?"
"Come to another one of my parties. This coming saturday." Hoseok offers.
"Are you kidding?"
"No, I'm not. I want to get to know you." Hoseok admits.
"I don't know..."
"Come on Gukie! You can make it up to me by attending again. I want us to be friends." Hoseok cheers.
"I guess so..."
"Yay! Don't worry, i'll give you a night full of fun"
"But one question." Jeongguk brings up.
"Yeah?"
"How did your number get on my phone?" Jeongguk wonders.
"Oh, that. After you threw up, Taehyung called me and I helped clean you up. Then I asked who was dropping you home? And then that girl who you came with, said it was her, so told her call me if you have any emergencies, but her phone was dead. So I put my phone number in your phone just in case. But that's okay, right?" Hoseok explains.
"Oh yeah, it's fine. I was just confused." Jeongguk laughs.
"But i'll see you at the next party right?" Hoseok checks.
"...Yeah..."
"That's great Gukie, you won't regret it." Hoseok smiles.
"Okay."
"Okay, I'll see you then, call me if you need anything." Hoseok says.
"Okay, bye."
