Madison's pov-
I was walking to school on an average Derry day.
As in average, I mean get up, get ready for school, skip breakfast, and somehow run into Bowers and his gang on the way to school.
Except, today was a little bit different than just, average.

Normal pov-
Madison's normal route to school somehow changed today.
As she passed the big green tree that she used to play on as a child, she heard faint whispers.
Bowers.
Madison quickened her pace.
She absolutely did not want to be late for class, nor did she want to be picked on by Henry and the others.
But she wasn't fast enough.
"Beep beep Maddie." Chuckled Henry as he stepped in front of her.
"What do you want Henry?" Sighed Madison.
"Why don't you hang with us for once?" He smirked.
"Ha! In your dreams." She replied.
Henry rolled his eyes.
"Your gonna regret that Billings." Henry spat.
And just as Henry was about to say something else, a young boy with red hair and broken glasses walked up to them.
"Hey Bowers, why don't you go bug someone else? Huh" the boy said.
Madison was shocked that someone was sticking up for her, but she stayed quiet.
"Oh yeah? And what're you gonna do if I don't?" Henry questioned.
"Mmm well I could call the rest of the loser's to gather up a bunch of rocks..." the boy smirked.
The boy was referring to a time when him and his group of friends, known as the "Losers Club", had scared away Henry and the gang by using rocks.
"You wouldn't."
"Wanna bet?" The boy said, picking up a rock.
And with that, Henry, Belch, and Victor were running away.
"Wow..thanks." Madison said as she watched the bullies run.
"Anytime. Oh and by the way, Richie Tozier's the name, and doing voices is my game." He winked.
Richie.
Hm.
"It's Madison." She smiled, shaking his hand.
"You know, I think you'd like my friends. Wanna meet em?" Richie asked with a smile plastered onto his freckled face.
"Sounds good to me" Madison replied, returning the smile.
"Y'know, I think your a pretty cool girl." Richie said, placing his arm around her shoulder.
"Your not so bad yourself Tozier." Madison said.
And with that, they were off to school, along with Madison's new friends.
