Hello my loves <3

Thanks for reading.

Once I crossed the threshold, I closed my eyes and relished the feeling of being back home. Finally. Being back home feels so good. My home is going to change in a matter of hours. Shit! I need to pack up. My eyes snapped to the clock across the kitchen island. Shoot! It's already noon. Ethan will be here in five hours.

Losing no time, I began packing my stuff. Thank goodness I didn't have much to pack. While packing, my thoughts went back to the obnoxious woman who called. She seems very possessive about Mr. Salvestro. Well who wouldn't be in the first place?! He's an amazingly gorgeous man with a body to die for. And his voice, his beautiful velvety yet commanding tone. Not to forget those stunning dark orbs that can easily take you from one world to another. And his

Stop Ava! My subconscious snapped. Shit! I was day dreaming about my boss. Focus Ava!

I shook my head out of my day dreams and continued packing.

Few minutes later, I heard knocking at the door. I stopped whatever I was doing and walked to the door.

"Hey." Mia said once I opened the door. She seemed to have a sad expression on her beautiful face. "Begun packing?" She asked walking inside.

"Yeah." I muttered closing the door behind me.

"I'm gonna miss you once you go." She told me, her voice full of sadness. Oh silly her doesn't know that I'm not going anywhere without her.

"Why?" I asked playing dumb.

"Well, you're moving into a new house. It's gonna be different now, with you not around. With whom am I going to watch silly chick flicks?" She sniffed. Aww.

"No, it's not gonna be different because you're coming with me. And if you're talking about Pitch Perfect, it's definitely not a silly movie. Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson were so good in that movie." I argued.

"It's all about—Wait, what?" I had to bite my lips to prevent myself from laughing at her. "I'm coming with you?" She asked with wide eyes and mouth fully opened.

"Yes, Mia. I'm not leaving you here." I smiled at her.

"But, but it your home now. Mr. Salvestro gave it to you." She said, her voice breaking at the end.

"No, it's ours." I walked to her and stroke her arms. "You gave a place when I had nowhere to go. And today I can't leave you here on your own. You're my best friend and I need you." I told her sincerely.

"Oh, Ava." She hugged me, taking me by surprise. "Thanks. Even I didn't want to stay alone." She said, crying over my shoulders. "I should be jumping out of joy but here I'm crying. I think it's my period. I'm feeling emotional." She said, making me chuckle.

"Okay, thamks for giving me this little piece of information." I laughed, untangling myself from her. "Now go and pack your things. Ethan will be here at five to pick us up."

"Shit! It's already two." Wow, time flies. "I better get going." She said, wiping her tears and quickly ran to her room.

At exactly four thirty, both Mia and I were done with our packing and we sat on the couch breathing hard as if we just ran two miles.

"Who knew packing could be so tiring?" Mia said, exhaling deeply.

"I officially hate packing." I replied lazily.
