A flight to remember!

"Wh-what?" I replied, completely shocked! I was even doubting my ears!

"Yes, Ava, you heard right. We are going to Rome for three days and no, your ears are completely fine." Sebastian responded without even looking at me, making me blush in embarrassment. I can't believe I said the ear thing out loud.

Why would he take his personal assistant with him for a business trip. I mean what will I even do there.

"Umm, do I need to come with you? I mean it's a business trip, what will I do there?" I asked with a little bit of courage, making him stop eating and look at me with a glare. Oops.

"Do you think I will be that stupid to let you stay here all alone while I'm abroad doing business?" Sebastian asked, narrowing his eyes at me. Does he care about me?

"But I'm not going to be alone, Mia will be here. Besides there needs to be someone at the office to take care of the paperworks." I responded, trying to convince him to let me stay. I don't know why I'm trying this much not to go with him. If there were someone else in my shoes, she would have jumped at the opportunity. I don't know if I'm scared or there's something more to it. Gosh, I'm so confused.

"I am not comfortable leaving you here with anyone, be it Mia." Sebastian said adamantly. "And speaking of paperworks, there are other people who will perform your tasks while you're not around. So, you're coming with me. End of discussion."

God, I have one hell of a stubborn boss.

Just when I was about to say something, his phone went off, silenting me.

"What the fuck Gio!" Sebastian barked at the person who I presume is Gio and banged his fist on the table making me jump. "How the fuck is this possible? You were supposed to take care of things until I come tomorrow!" Sebastian said, raging with anger. Boy, this man swears a lot! "Don't give me these fucking explanations Gio! I'm coming over right now!" Sebastian responded furiously before hanging the phone. He was gripping the phone so hard that it might even break.

"We're going to Rome right now." Sebastian said making my eyes go wide.

"What? Now? But I don't have my passport and I still haven't packed my things and Mia, I need to inform her." I replied, hyperventilating a bit.

"All of your concerns will be resolved. We need to go, now." Sebastian said urgently, while taking a hundred dollar bill and placing it on the table. I feel slightly bad for not meeting Olivia and telling her how delicious the food was.

"Okay." I responded, getting up from my seat and going by his side.

Once we got in the car, Sebastian ordered Ethan to take us to the airport.

The ride to the airport was absolutely quiet, to the point where you could hear a pin drop. The only sound that could be heard was that of typing sounds that were emitted from Sebastian's phone. I wonder what might have happened. I don't want to ask him now, I'll let him cool down first and then will ask him.

Half an hour later, we reached the airport. A young handsome man who wore a dark suit was waiting for us by a car. He was gorgeous but not as gorgeous as Sebastian. He flashed me a smile once Sebastian and I got out of the car making me go scarlet. I bet Sebastian saw this because almost immediately, he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close to him.

"Here is the passport of Miss Wilson." The man handed over my passport to Sebastian.

"Thank you Gio. I'll see you in Rome tomorrow and keep me updated of whatever is happening." Sebastian responded curtly before pulling me along towards the plane.
