Hello my gorgeous readers,

So, I tried to make this chapter a little bit longer. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Love you <3

"Um, hi." I replied nervously once I saw him. Now that I am here, the idea of looking after him doesn't look that much appealing. Oh shut up you! You're here to simply return the good gesture that he did when you were sick, my inner voice spoke authoritatively clearing all the negative thoughts from my mind.

"What are you doing here?" Mr. Salvestro asked, seeming totally confused.

"Actually, when I went to work, Mia told me that you were not well." At my reply, Mr. Salvestro's gorgeous face turned into a frown. "So, I came here to check on you." I explained further.

"You went to the office?" Mr. Salvestro asked, annoyed. So, this is what he heard after whatever I just said. How smart! "Which part of staying at home for a week did you not understand, Ava?" Mr. Salvestro chastised, looking clearly mad. Why does he always make me feel like I did horrible mistakes?!

"I'm sorry." I apologized, playing with my fingers. Wait, why the hell am I apologizing? I swear this man will definitely drive me crazy. "But, you were here by my side when I was sick. So, it's fair that I look after you when you are ill." I replied in a timid voice.

Mr. Salvestro sighed heavily. "Ava, I can look after myself. There was no need to come all the way here to take care of me just because I was there for you." He explained, rubbing his temple. "You're my assistant, so it was my responsibility to be there for you." I don't know why, but I felt slightly disheartened at his reply. You're just his assistant, Ava. Get over it! My subconscious snapped.

I don't care what he thinks of me but I can't leave him here in this bad shape. My morals won't allow me to do so.

"And you're my boss and it's my responsibility to look after you when you're not well." I said, stubbornly feeling quite proud of myself for standing up.

"You do realize that you are arguing with your boss and I could make your life quite miserable for your obstinate actions, right?" He raised his right eyebrow at me, challenging me. He's right. He could make my life woeful if he wanted to. Well, it's not like he's a wonderful boss right now. He's still a jerk. I think I will be able to bear it if he decides to be a bigger jerk.

"I'm willing to take the risk but I'm not leaving you on your own." I replied tenaciously. I think I saw a slight smile on his face but it disappeared as quickly as it appeared, or it's my mind playing tricks at me.

"As you wish." He replied, beginning to cough uncontrollably. I ran towards the bed side table and took the glass of water and handed it to him.

"Did you take your medicines?" I asked once he drowned all the water in the glass.

"No." He muttered making me roll my eyes.

"Where do you keep your medicines?" I asked looking around the room. It was then that I realized how big and spacious his room was. And it was absolutely nickel.

"Downstairs, in the kitchen. It's found in one of the cabinets." He answered taking back his laptop, placing it on his thighs beginning to work again.

"I'll get it." I replied, making my way out of his room.

"No need. I'll come and take it myself once I'm done with this call." He said in his professional mode.

I nodded and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. I could make him a soup. It's usually what people have when they are sick.

I opened a few cabinets to see where he keeps his pots and after quite some searching I finally found one. Wait before getting started I need music. I need music whenever I cook or clean the house.
