"Ai, this is pointless." (Y/N) told her boyfriend of three years as he tucked her into bed.
"It is not! My mother did this for me when I was sick." Nitori protested, his cheeks turning pink.
She had been sick with a heavy cold that was going around, and Nitori made it his duty to make sure she rested up.
"Here, don't forget to eat." he says as he pushes a sandwich towards the girl.
"No more chicken soup?! I love your chicken soup! Noooo! Aiichi!" the girl cried dramatically.
"(Y/N), you can't have chicken noodle soup three times a day. You need some actual food so you don't starve." Nitori pointed out.
The h/c girl rested her index finger on her chin, eyes rolled to the side, as if she was thinking something. Like there was a thought bubble over her head. Nitori loved this about the girl, she was so expressive yet her emotions were genuine.
"Okay, I guess you're right!" she beamed before taking a bite of her (favorite sandwich) sandwich.
"Oh my goodness! This is so good! How are you good at everything Nitori?" (Y/N) asked him.
"I-I.. well.." he scratched the back of his head.
"I made it with love." he admitted, pink dusting his face.
"That was so cheesy! Even for you!" she laughed, admiring her adorable partner.
"I promise that when you're sick I'll make you a sandwich too!" The girl cheered. Nitori uneasily laughed.

1 week later
"Gee, I wonder what's taking (Y/N) so long. She was only boiling pasta... She couldn't burn down the kitchen with that.. Could she?" Nitori whispered to himself."AIICHIROU! I THINK I JUST SET THE KITCHEN ON FIRE!" He hears his long time girlfriend shriek from the kitchen.
'You have got to be kidding me,' is what he thought.
But instead, he yells, "Coming!"
Because (Y/N) is the one he loves most, and he knows that she was just trying to make something out of love for him.
