HARRY

"I, uh...excuse me." I say quickly to Scott and Rebecca, moving past them.

I hear their confused voices behind me, but I don't stop. I make my way through the crowd, not caring that I'm pushing a few people out of the way particularly hard.

After what seems like forever, I finally make it to the exit door, and I shove it open. It reveals a small alleyway, but I don't see anyone.

"Bella?" I shout, allowing my voice to echo. Where the hell is she?

BELLA

"Where the hell are we going?" I ask impatiently as he leads me further and further down the alley, away from the reception. I know that I shouldn't be out here with him, and I'm definitely being cautious, but at the same time, I can tell that whatever he needs to tell me is pretty important. If it's important enough for him to crash a wedding, it must be pretty serious.

"Look, I promise I'm not here to hurt you. Just follow me." Ace growls.

"You may not believe this, but I don't trust you." I snap, and so does he, spinning around so that he comes face to face with me. I suck in a sharp breath, trying not to show him that I'm still terrified of him after what he did to me.

"I know you don't, and you don't have to. But I really think you're gonna wanna hear what I have to tell you."

"Then tell me."

"Bella?" Before Ace can speak, I hear a familiar voice bounce off the walls of the alleyway.

"Took him long enough." Ace scoffs, rolling his eyes. As he speaks, footsteps pound on the cement, getting closer and closer until Harry rushes around the corner.

"Get the fuck away from her." He yells before anyone has a chance to say anything else.

"Harry—"

"Bella, get over here." He interrupts me, pointing to the ground next to him.

I glance at Ace who hasn't made any type of threat since he approached me at the bar. He simply said that he needed to tell me something, and then led me out of the banquet hall. When he doesn't make any move to stop me, I carefully walk over to stand next to Harry who practically has anger radiating off of him.

"What are you doing here?" He asks Ace through gritted teeth.

"As I was just telling your girl, I'm not here to hurt anyone." He says, scanning his eyes over me.

"Don't fucking look at her." Harry snaps, positioning his body in front of mine so that I have to look around his shoulder to clearly see Ace.

I place my hand on the back of his arm, trying to calm him down. I may not trust Ace, but I do believe that he's here for a legitimate reason.

"Now, I'm not gonna ask again. What the fuck are you doing here?" Harry raises his voice.

"I'm here to warn you." Ace finally admits with a sigh, and I frown. I can tell by the way Harry falls silent that he's surprised by this news too.

"Warn us about what?" I speak up when Harry doesn't.

Even though I asked the question, Ace directs his response to Harry. "All this shit that's been going down with you and Derek. He found out."

"Who found out?" Harry asks lowly, but I think he already knows the answer. I think I know too.

"Smith." Ace confirms, and I nod. "He found out, and he's pissed."

"So Smith is pissed." Harry repeats. "That still doesn't tell me why the fuck you tracked us down at my best friend's fucking wedding so that you could drag my girlfriend out here and give us some vague ass warning."
