(He Has Officially Rebranded And Upgraded)

Loving smiles. Sweet air. Sun shining. Soft kisses on the balcony. Sitting and talking about life. Red and white roses in a vase.  Water rushing through the river ahead. Best friends. Lovers. Flowers. Phil.
"Wake up; we're here!" Dan snapped awake as Chris' voice rang out above his dream. He pulled up to the side of the road less gently than the two in the backseat had hoped for, but, nevertheless, they had reached Phil's apartment. As it had happened almost simultaneously, Tyler stepped out of the bus on the other end of the street. The blond noticed the arrival of the other three and waved gleefully.
Dan popped open his door, as he was on the side closest to the pavement, and Chris helped as he aided Phil in exiting the car.  Once outside the entrance to the apartment building with Tyler by their sides, Phil led the way on shaky legs and arms wrapped around Dan to his door upstairs.
"Wow, you have a nice place here, Phil!  Better than mine almost," Tyler joked as they walked into the main living space.  The uneasy atmosphere grew into warmth and kindness as he continued to make everyone laugh.  Chris even joined in with his favorite gag which was called 'Pretending To Be PJ' where he slurped invisible tea and made up wacky characters in a posh accent.  Soon, the quad was resting comfortably in Phil's flat with smiles gently plastered on their faces.
"So, what would everyone like to do?  I'm not really in the right mood to host..."  Phil said as he looked helplessly across the room.  The trash bin was full of rotten Chinese food, and on the coffee table by the couch the water given to him by Dan before he left for the doctor's office sat still and lukewarm.
All three men piped up.  "No, Phil, you don't have to do anything," Chris reassured.
"We can do whatever you'd like," Tyler added.
"We're here for you, dear," Dan finished as the trio smiled up at Phil.
"Well, alright..."  Phil stopped looking around the room.  Instead, he focused on a spot above him, as if the ceiling could sort through his options for him.  After a moment of hesitation, he found an answer.  "We could order pizza and listen to music?"  Everyone happily agreed.

"I think I'd better go home now. Feel better soon, Phil!" Chris said, yawning, and waved goodbye to the other three on the couch.
"I hate to say this, but I have to leave, too," the blond sadly, and also sleepily, stated.
"Aw, Tyler, can't you stay here?" Dan softly whined. He noticed Phil was about to drift off to sleep again.
Chris scoffed sarcastically. "Wow, it sure is nice to forget about Chris."
"You know I wouldn't," Dan said with a smile.
Tyler walked over to hug his long-distance friend. "My flight is leaving in two hours, I'm sorry. We'll meet again soon, I promise."
"Alright." Phil's head was now lain on Dan's shoulder as he softly snored. "And Chris," the brown-haired man looked back from the door, "Don't be late to work tomorrow."
"Okay, okay. I'll try to be early," he responded like Dan was his mother scolding him.
"You'd better be."
After exchanging their final goodbyes, Dan and the amazing, sleeping Phil were left alone in the flat. We can't sleep on the couch all night. Dan scooted Phil's head back onto the couch cushion, stood, and picked him up bridal style to bring him into the bedroom where he removed Phil's wrinkled shirt and jeans. To increase his boyfriend's comfort, Dan reached into his bag and brought out a nice smelling face mask to put on Phil while he slept on the bed. Once under the green and blue checkered sheets in the dark of the room, lit only by the bright moon hanging in the sky followed by a cascade of stars, Dan ended the night by gently massaging small circles into Phil's back. Soon enough, he fell asleep hugging the gorgeous punk from behind. At some point in the night, however, Dan drowsily woke to feel Phil shift around beside him; they were now facing each other, and a soft and sleepy kiss was placed on Dan's lips.  The two fell back to sleep with their foreheads pressed against each other's, their bodies in a warm embrace, and a symphony of crickets sounding from the spring air outside.
