AN: Listen... let's just say that top surgery ftm was available back in the 80s, because I can't find anything that says when it was first available.
Also, there's like... swearing in this? A whole lot of it.
College (20)
"Shit shit shit!"
Bella panted as she came to a halt, looking around the college grounds.
"Where were we meetin', where were we meetin'?" Bella mumbled, tapping the side of her head. Finally she seemed to have remembered, because she took off again, easily running in her cheap flip flops.
She stopped again in front of a girl with blond hair sitting against a tree. Bella panted, clutching at her chest in pain. She groaned as she sat against the tree, still breathing heavily. She kicked her flip flops off and set them in front of her.
"About time ya showed up," Daniella said, showing a bit of annoyance.
"I'm... sorry," Bella panted. "I... fergot we were... meetin'. Ugh, I shouldn't have run. I dunno if it's bad fer the scars." She sighed, leaning over to kiss Daniella's cheek. "Hi baby."
"Hey sweetie," the girl smiled lightly, returning the kiss on Bella's lips. "What held you up this time?"
"Jackson was... hoo... in the... middle'a... the jungle again," Bella explained, trying to catch her breath. "I think he's... ugh... almost discovered the cure."
"Wow, you were really 'booking' it, huh?" Daniella joked, grinning.
"Shut the fuck up," Bella laughed. "Ugh, Ah'm sorry Ah'm late. I just get distracted by a book and everythin' else..." she waved her hands for emphasis, "disappears."
"Wonder where I've heard that before" Daniella rolled her eyes playfully.
"You love me," Bella teased, laying her head in the girl's lap. She smiled goofily up at Daniella, resting her hands on her stomach.
"Yeah, I do," Daniella responded, running the tips of her fingers up and down Bella's arm. Bella rolled her tongue, making a purring noise. The two of them sat like that for awhile, neither talking much.
"Hey hon, have you ever thought of learning to play the guitar?"
"Only when thinkin' of ways ta torture myself. Why?" Bella asked, her eyes closed.
"I don't know, people who play guitar are kind of attractive, don't you think?" Daniella asked.
"Well sure, it's a cool talent, but I don' think Ah'd be attracted ta someone just cause they can... play an instrument," Bella answered. "Don' think Ah could either. Don' think I could play one. I just can'... memorize, or remember... what Ah'm 'upposed to do."
"Hm. Would you consider learning for me?" Daniella smiled sweetly. Bella opened and narrowed her eyes at her girlfriend.
"...No," she responded shortly. Daniella pouted.
"Well, it's just... there's this boy in my one class that can play guitar," she began.
"So? Yer datin' me. Not him," Bella rolled her eyes. "And Bella, can' play instruments. Too much ta remember. Way too much."
"I'm sure you could learn if you just tried," Daniella argued.
"Oh, do not give me that bullshit," Bella rolled her eyes. "Ah've heard it from everyone. 'You can do it if ya try!' No! I can't! It's like, my brain won' let me! I try ta learn but all the keys an' strings or whatever jus'... jumble tagether. I can't tell 'em apart!"
