Normal POV

After being out a long night Batman finally returns to the batcave. He changed out of his bat suit ready to be in comfortable clothes and sleep for a few hours. Before heading off to bed though Bruce went to see where Joker was. Walking through the living room of the manor he ran into Alfred doing some dusting around shelves.

"Hey Al," Bruce walked over to him, "Is Joker with Lucy? Did he take care of her alright while I was gone?.."

"Sir, he has absolutely no ability to raise a child on his own, I've helped him out most of the day, changing her, feeding her, bathing her, pretty much everything... But he's trying so I give him credit for that. Last I saw him, he was putting Lucy down for bedtime a couple hours ago while I started on house work." Alfred looked exhausted.

"You should rest more Al, you're a great help but take some days to rest if you need to. I know kids are a lot of work but Joker and I can handle it on our own." Bruce pat him on the shoulder.

"Thank you sir, but I would rather do all I can to help." The butler smiled.

"I know, but still if you ever need a break it's okay, really." Bruce smiled back.

After his brief talk with his butler, Bruce walked up to Lucy's room to check on her only to find the most adorable thing he's ever seen.

On the small toddler bed was their one year old daughter fast asleep and cuddling her also asleep was Joker and both of them were surrounded buy stuffed animals with the small TV in the corner playing Blue's Clues quietly. Bruce had never seen a more precious site in his whole life making him smile so sincerely.

They really were the loves of his life.

After a few moments Bruce slowly shut the door behind him, not wanting to wake either of them up and proceeded to go to his master bedroom. He needed to get a few hours of sleep while he could before taking care of Lucy and doing more work. He sat in bed thinking how long it's been since he's had any real alone time or a date night with Joker. There's just always so much to do it never seems like there's enough time anymore except for those nights they pretend to fight so Gotham doesn't get suspicious of where Joker's been or anything. But he wants more time just him and his boyfriend. He misses it but a lot of things change.

Lying down drifting asleep while thinking, Bruce knew he needed to plan a date night with Joker soon. It's been so long and time together is essential. As soon as he wakes up he'll plan a night with his lover and make things perfect.

About an hour later Bruce's bedroom door slowly creaks open revealing a clown rubbing his tired eyes.

"Baaaaats..." He leans against the doorway sounding like a child who wants attention.

Bruce yawns and sits up, "Come over here.." He says calmly to Joker while moving over on the bed.

Joker trudged over flopping on top of Bruce, "You're more comfy than the kid's bed."

Bruce smirked and wrapped him in his arms. Joker looked up at him and kissed him softly on the lips.

"I've missed my Batsy boo..."

"I've missed you too..."
