Chapter 11

Luke’s P.O.V

I heard the front door slam and I said

“Is that you Anna”?

“Who else would it be stupid” she responded back a minute later I heard her door slam, maybe she was with Ashton I wonder what’s going on with them two I’m going to ask her, I walked up stairs knocking on her door “Come in” I opened the door walking in seeing Anna cleaning her room up she only does that if she’s guilty of something

“Anna, where were you”?

“I was um none of your business” she walked past me grabbed clothes behind me I stood in front of her and I said

“Anna, you only clean your room if your guilty of something so come on what happened”

“Nothing it’s just nothing I just” she couldn’t find the words to explain I laughed at my older sister and I said

“Anyway, you and Ashton have been getting a lot close lately”

“Luke, don’t mention his name”

“No way, something happened between you and Ashton”

“Luke, just shut up seriously”

“Well I’m just saying ever since Ashton came along you’ve been talking more and everyday I’m seeing my older sister get happier moving on”

“Luke, don’t you get it I can’t move on from what happened to me and if I move on I’m probably going to end up breaking someone’s heart and I don’t want to break someone’s heart especially Ashton’s” Anna sat on the bed and I knew I had to comfort her I put one arm around my sis and I said

“Listen, I know what you’re going through is tough but Peter will be happy that your moving on I know you still love him and that there will always be a special place in your heart for him but it’s time to let him go, I understand these last couple of months have been tough for you and you’ve been shutting people out but now it’s time to show the world how strong you can be and stop backing out on guys asking you out because you’re beautiful Anna and any guy would love to go out with you and I don’t know what Irwin is doing but his making you smile again like there’s hope” Anna gave me a hug and she said

“I’m so glad to have you has my brother Luke”

“And I’m glad to have you as sister” I pulled her close kissing her on the head enjoying this moment.

Ashton’s P.O.V

Tuesday afternoon I had to take my brother to soccer practise, I was sitting under the tree watching my brother do training, I must admit Harry was a good player at one point he tried to get into a group conversation but they told him to go away, All Harry wanted to do was to make friends but Harry like always shrugged it off running over to me, sitting down fixing up his shoe laces

“Hard time making friends” Harry looked at me and said

“Yeah, but I don’t mind”

“Well don’t worry about them I bet you if you make a winning goal or anything they will talk to you and you will have friends on this team soon”

“I hope so” We heard the coach’s whistles blow and said

“COME ON TEAM BACK TO TRAINING”!

“Better get back out there” Harry said finishing off his shoe lace and ran off onto the field, Harry may seem like a quiet kid but once you get to know him his a nice kid just wish someone would give him a chance here. It was hard for Harry to leave his friends behind he had great friends back home.

“Ashton” I looked up seeing Luke walking over to me “What are you doing here”? he said sitting down next to me

“I’m here for my brother his playing soccer” I said pointing at Harry kicking the ball around

“Cool, my dad is the coach I help him out I’m like his assistant”

“Sounds great”

“So my sister happened between you and her yesterday”

“Crap really, so you going to tell me off now”?

“No I’m not, I’ve spoken to her and all I’m going to say is, try asking her out again”

“LUKE”! We both looked up and his dad was telling him to go over to him

“I better get going see you tomorrow Ashton”

“See you later mate” Luke ran off and I thought to myself maybe I should try asking Anna out again but what if she turns me down, well mum did always told me to never give up on something I love.
