Chapter 28

It’s been almost 3 months that Anna and I have been a couple, and it’s been the best 3 months I could ask for. It was almost spring and the holidays were almost here and Anna and I had no idea what we were going to do, we were sitting on the sofa thinking about things we could do, Anna was the opposite side to me on the sofa while she was typing on her laptop searching for things to do because we were both that bored. I was just staring at Anna the whole time she was on that laptop, she looked up at me and said

“Stop staring at me”

“But why”?

“It’s creepy”

“I can’t help myself, you’re beautiful” Anna rolled her eyes and I said

“What, you are beautiful and don’t deny it”

“Ashton, stop it” Anna said blushing, covering her face. I leaned over towards her and grabbed her hands away from her face and I kissed her. I pulled away and smiled

“You’re beautiful Anna, end of story” this time Anna shut her laptop putting it down beside her and cuddled up to me

“Maybe, we could just hung out at each other houses and watch movies all day I mean it’s only 2 weeks”

“True, maybe when we leave school you and me can go on a road trip or something and ditch schoolies”

“That would be awesome, one problem”

“Oh that’s right, well maybe you will get over your far by then”

“I hope”

“I don’t really care what we do, as long as I’m with you” I kissed her on the head and Anna laughed at me and said

“Looks like Mr. Cheesy is back”

“Shh you” Anna and I kissed that was until we heard a cough behind us. Anna quickly pulled away and we looked up and saw Andrew standing there and he said

“Remember papa Hemmings is in this house”

“Sorry sir”

“Just keep your tongues in your own mouths and we should be fine”

“Yes sir” he soon walked off taking a sip of his tea, walking into the kitchen. I looked back at Anna and laughed

“Oh wow, that’s embarrassing”

“Well his gone now, so” I was about to kiss her until she put my heads on my chest and said

“Ashton, my dad’s here were not making out on the sofa” I put my hands on her thighs while getting closer to her face

“What has gotten into you, Mr. Irwin”?

“I’m just really in love with you” Anna smiled at the ground and we were about to kiss until we heard the front door open and Luke and Liz were home, Luke came around the corner and said

“Oh god, there making out again” Anna and I both laughed and Anna stuck the rude finger up at her brother, Luke has been getting closer with Claire lately which was great because Luke was finally getting a god damn girlfriend and it’s all thanks to me. Now he just needs to ask her out, Luke sat down on the sofa and he said

“Seriously how the hell did this happen, one of my friends ends up dating my sister you should feel special Ash”

“Yeah, I do” I said putting my arm around my girl smiling at her “Now, when are you going to ask Claire out”?

“I’m not”

“What, why not you guys are like perfect for each other” Anna said

“What’s the point, Anna I get too shy around her and I feel like I’m not going to be the best boyfriend for her and she can do so much better”

“Luke, you’re the most caring, amazing, can be annoying sometimes boy I know and also you’re not that bad looking and I can’t say hot, because I’m your sister and that’s just wrong”

“Thanks Anna”

“Look next time you see her, just ask her out I know it’s a big deal for you but just do it” I said

“Alright fine, I’ll ask her out”

“Thank god” Anna and I said at the same time. Liz came into the lounge room she was on the phone to someone and Liz seemed to have the biggest smile on her face

“Alright, yeah I’ll tell them” Liz hung up and Anna said

“What’s going on mum”?

“That was your brother Ben”

“Ben, as in Ben who moved to America, as in the other side of the world Ben” Luke said

“Yes, Luke that Ben” Anna said

“What did he want”?

“Well guess what we’re doing these holidays”?

“What”?

“We are going to America plus Jack is coming also and Ben said you can bring one friend”

“One”?! Luke said falling back onto the sofa, Anna looked at me and said

“I already know who I’m taking”

“Alright, Anna is taking Ashton, Luke who are you taking”?

“I can’t pick out of Michael and Calum that’s just unfair”

“Well why don’t you ask Claire”

“She wouldn’t want to go to America with me”

“Sure she would plus it would be fair to Michael and Calum so neither of them is left behind”

“Alright fine I’ll go see Claire now” Luke got up grabbing his keys and phone and walked out the door and Liz said

“Oh this is so exciting; I’ve never been to America before I should go tell your father, America for 2 weeks” Liz ran into the kitchen and I turned to Anna and said

“Well isn’t your mum happy to be going to America”

“Well we haven’t seen Ben in a long time so it’s a big deal”

“And Ben is one of your brothers”

“Yep so is Jack”

“I thought Luke was you’re only brother”

“Nope I’ve got 2 older brothers I’m the only girl besides my mum in the family”

“So I’m guessing your two older brothers are going to sit me down and have a chat with me”

“Yes, and it’s going to be a long one”

“Should I be scared”?

“Yeah”

“Great”
