Chapter 25

Today was the day of Anna’s cousin’s wedding, I was kind of nervous because apparently these people are bitchy, I looked in the mirror fixing my suit and I ran downstairs before heading down to the Hemmings house hold, mum stopped me and said

“Aw, Ashton you look so handsome”

“Thank you”

“What time shall I expect you home”?

“Uh not sure I’ll be sure to call you, when I’m coming home”

“Okay, have fun and be yourself”

“Bye mum” I gave her a kiss on the cheek and ran out the door.

Once I arrived at the Hemmings house, I saw Liz, Luke and Andrew but where was Anna, Luke noticed me and said

“Hey mate”

“Hey, where’s Anna”?

“She’s coming” Liz said, soon the front door opened and Anna walked outside wearing a beautiful yellow dress, normally I don’t like girls that wear yellow dresses but Anna suited yellow. I kept looking her up and down

“What, I look terrible don’t I” Anna said

“No you look fine, you look beautiful and breathtaking”

“Aw, and really you’re wearing that hat again” Anna said looking at my hat

“What it’s my hat I love it”

“I bet you do”

“Well were off, I’ll see you guys at the wedding” Luke and his parents got in the car driving off and Anna and I started walking to the church.

“I feel bad that you have to walk”

“Why, I don’t mind walking”

“Because of my stupid fear with cars that’s why”

“It’s not a stupid fear, everyone gets why you don’t like getting in the car and I know that you’re trying your best to get over it and it will take some time too”

Anna and I were sitting up near the back, waiting for the wedding to begin, I kept noticing a girl who looked our way every 5 seconds but she wasn’t looking at me, she was looking at Luke so I turned to Luke and said

“Hey Luke, there’s a girl over there checking you out”

“Me”?

“Yeah you, see the one with the red hair” Luke looked and so did I she smiled at Luke and he smiled back, Luke looked at me and said

“She’s cute”

“Luke’s got a crush on someone” Anna said

“Shut up” Luke said, he was starting to blush. Soon the music started playing the groom, the bridesmaids walked down the aisle. Anna leaned over and said

“They all look so beautiful”

“I think you look better” Anna looked at me rolling her eyes but she still laughed at me, soon we all stood up waiting for the bride, the door opened showing a beautiful bride wearing a white puffy dress with her father by her side. The wedding was beautiful there were some tears and they wrote their own vowels and it made me tear up. I felt Anna holding my hand she put her head on my shoulder.
