Chapter 22

Anna’s P.O.V

Ashton and I seemed to get serious now, but we weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend just yes but I figured I needed to do one more thing before I moved on and started a relationship with Ashton. I woke up at five in the morning I grabbed my jumper and put it on while walking downstairs and put my shoes on outside. On my way I noticed a pretty flower and I grabbed a bunch of those. Soon I walked to the grave yard making my way to Peter’s grave I sat down in front of it and I said

“I bet you wouldn’t see me again, these last couple of months have been hell without you Peter but I feel like you sent an angel just to look down on me, I met someone else his name is Ashton he kind of reminds me of you, you know he treats me exactly like you would I think I’m finally getting happy again Peter, it’s like Ashton is fixing my broken heart. I just hope your happy that I’m moving on but listen Peter then will always be a special place for you in my heart, you were my first love and no one can forget their first love but now it’s time to move on from the past and look towards the future and see what the future holds for me I love you Peter and always will, I will always remember that goof ball who took months to admit he likes me and got the balls to ask me out that one summer and we’ve been through much and I can’t thank you enough for making me feel like a princess Peter” I started crying and I wiped away the tears, I stood up and put the flowers down on his grave and I said “I love you Peter forever and always”

It’s like I felt a cold breeze right beside me like Peter was right there next to me. I reached into my pocket and grabbed the promise ring that Peter gave me on our 3 year anniversary. I couldn’t keep this anymore I knew Peter would understand what I was doing. I was going to put on the grave but I decided to walk to the beach. When I arrived at the beach I just looked at the beautiful sunset coming up and I smiled at the ground this was it I was moving on it was time, I grabbed the ring and I gave it one last kiss and I said

“Forever and always” I took a step back and soon through the ring in the water. There was no going back now the ring was in the ocean gone for good, I sat on the sand not getting over what I just did and started thinking about everything Peter and I went through. It was time to move on, show how strong I really was just like Ashton said I was. I noticed someone walking over and soon I noticed it was Luke, he sat down next to me putting one arm around me. I rested my head on Luke’s shoulder and he said

“I’m proud of you sis, you did the right thing”

Aw wasn't that a cute brother and sister moment and yes Luke got woken up by Anna and followed her wondering what his sister was doing :) Also Sorry that this was short but I just wanted this chapter to be about Anna finally moving on and visting Peter's grave :) and I was listening to alot of We The Kings songs when I wrote this chapter :) I will probably make a playlist of songs that inspired me to write this story :)
