Chapter 36

Anne’s P.O.V

It was so good to be home again but I don’t know what it’s going to be like when we go back to school with Ashton and Luke being his friend. When we arrived at home pulling up to the drive way I saw Ashton sitting at the door step holding flowers and in his hand was a book. I got out of the car and Ashton gave me a small smile he stood up walking over to me.

“Hi” I said

“Hi” he said back, he handed me back my book that I remember leaving in Ashton’s suitcase. “So I read your book and I started it last night and finished it at 3 in the morning” I folded my arms and laughed looking and the ground and back up at Ashton

“I told you it was a good book”

“Maybe, when it comes out I can take you” I bit my lip and I said

“Ash”

“Listen Anna, I want you to meet me at the garden tonight at 8, please but if you don’t show up then I know that it’s official over, okay”?

“Okay”

“I’ll see you hopefully tonight”

“Yeah maybe” I said, Ashton walked off down the street and Luke stood beside me and he said

“You better go, I don’t think I’ve seen someone fight for you that much not even Peter” I ignored my brother and grabbed my bag walking inside.

It was 7:30 almost 8, I didn’t know what to do I wanted to be with Ashton and then half of me wasn’t sure. Maybe I should go and see what his got installed for me. I got up getting dressed and I walked down the stairs and mum stopped me and said

“Honey, where are you going”?

“I’m going to go meet Ashton I’ll be home later”

“Okay, be safe” I opened the door making my way to the garden.

When I arrived no one was in the restaurant it was empty, I went around the back to where Ashton and I would hang out and standing there was Ashton in a suit waiting for me, he smiled and said

“You made it”

“Yeah” Ashton walked over to me and held my hand taking me over to the sofa that he was standing in front of before, I sat down and Ashton said

“I don’t want you to speak throughout this and no I’m not singing you another song I just want you to listen” Ashton went behind the sofa and he came back with cards, he got a remote out of his pocket and pressed play and the song Fix you by Coldplay started playing

Author’s Note: It would help if you listened to Coldplay – Fix you J I’m not going to say he kept changing in the card in every sentence but every line in a new card.

Ashton held up the first card and it said

Here’s the story

I was new in town and I knew no one, I was the new boy and that sucked

Then one day I remember walking to the bus stop, seeing a girl with pink tips

To me she was a mystery and I wanted to get to know her

Turns out she had a rough past

People told me to stay away from her

But that was the problem….

I couldn’t

I wanted to get to know her, and finally at her brother’s party I met her
