It was just another normal day at school; I haven’t seen Ashton all day I wonder where that dimple curly haired boy ran off too. Maybe Luke was right maybe I should just give Ashton a chance and go on one date with him; I mean Ashton seems to understand me and what I’m going through his not going to give up on me. I should go look for him and tell him how I feel. Once I stood up about to leave I heard the loud speaker and the lady said
“Students please in joy this performance” I decided to check out this performance I sat back down I heard the cords to one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite bands We The Kings I smiled at this song wondering what girl is getting serenade and asked out to formal even though it’s months away but still she should enjoy this cute performance from her boyfriend I was looking around the room to see where this performer was finally I saw a group of people making way and that’s when I saw Ashton oh shit my eyes widen and he started singing Say You Like Me oh my gosh everyone was looking at us was Ashton always this corny winning a girl over because it was working. He made his way over to me singing in front of me at this point I didn’t care that people were looking it was actually cute even though it’s like a corny thing you read or see in movies but I couldn’t help but smile he finished the song and everyone clapped I smirked and said
“So is this the part where you ask me to prom”? Ashton laughed and said
“No this is the part where I tell you to give me a chance, just one date with me if you think its crap then I will just leave you alone and be that guy that hangs out with your brother but Anna I like you like a lot there’s no denying that but the question is do you like me” I smiled at the ground and I looked up at Ashton I smiled and
“Fine, I like you so yes I will go out with you” Ashton ran around the table giving me a hug and the students who just witness that performance were cheering too and I said “You’re so corny Irwin”
“I try my best”
Ashton’s P.O.V
I ran into my house that afternoon and I yelled out
“She likes me”!
“Would you shut up I’m trying to watch my show” Lauren said sitting on the sofa watching an episode of Teen Wolf, mum walked downstairs and said
“Ashton, what’s going on”?
“She likes me” I said in a happy cheery voice like when a girl wins concert tickets to her favourite band or singer
“Well look at you all happy, this girl has some special effect on your Ashton because I’ve never seen you so in love”
“Because maybe I am in love” I said with a smile on my face
“OoOoO Ashton’s in love” Lauren said out loud wreaking the moment, I rolled my eyes and said
“What until you’re in love missy?”
“Yuck I’m good”
“Yeah you won’t be saying that soon” I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket I picked it up seeing Luke calling me “Hello”
“Ashton, guess what tonight is”
“What”?
“Guys night at Michael’s you gotta come over”
“Yeah sure I’ll be there just text me Michael’s address and I’ll be there”
“Sweet” the line disconnected and mum said
“Going out again I see”
“Yeah, is that okay”
“Yeah go have fun you’re a teenager live your life”
“Thanks mum” I kissed her on the cheek and before I left I said “I love you”
“I love you too Ashton” she said smiling.
It was nice just hanging out with the boys again we were drinking beer and playing video games waiting for the pizza man to get here with our pizza
“So Ashton congrats on getting a date with Anna” Michael said
“I’m surprised she gave me a chance but I just want to take things slow”
“Well Luke anything you want to say to Irwin here before things start getting serious between them two” Luke paused the game and looked at me and said
“You break my sisters heart I’ll break your face” We all laughed at Luke being serious but I would say the same thing when Lauren gets her first boyfriend.
“Don’t worry mate I don’t plan to break her heart at all” we heard a the door knock and Calum was the first one to get up and yell
“PIZZA”!
