~Ashley's POV~

As we make our way to the pack house me and Sean have been playing around, kissing, and getting to know each other. I found out that his favorite color is blue, he loves candy, and he has a little sister who is 4 years old and her name is Sabrina. When we finally get to the pack house he runs up to the door and opens it for me bowing saying. " My lady."

I giggle and bow back and say. " Why thank you, kind sir." We both laugh and walk into the house. I stop and take a good look around. It was amazing. So homey. We walk down a random hallway and an amazing scent hit me like a ton of bricks. Oh my god. My eyes widen and I just stood there. The scent was amazing it smelt like the woods and rain.

" Ash, are you ok? Is everything ok?" Sean asked looking at me with concern that made me think of my dad the day he died. My eyes started to well up with tears making me back up till my back hit a wall. I slid down the walls and cried thinking of my mom and dad.

" Ashes are you ok? What's the matter?" Sean said looking at me. We all jumped when we heard a door slam open there stood the most hottest man I've ever seen. Our eyes met and it felt like we were the only people in the world. He then saw my tears and his eyes turned black meaning his wolf was in full control.

" WHAT DID YOU DO SEAN!!!" He yelled so loud that the whole house shook. Sean looked at me confused but got up and got in a protective stance in front of me and growled at my mate.

" I would never do anything to my girlfriend. Alpha I don't mean to disrespect you but you are scaring her I'd like you to calm down." Sean turned around to me and asked me. " Are you ok Ashes?" I nodded and got up whipping the tears from my face.

In an instant, my mate had Sean up against the wall by his throat growling at him.

" WHAT DO YOU MEAN GIRLFRIEND? SHE'S MINE AND ONLY MINE!" He yelled in Sean's face. Sean's eyes went wide as he realized that his Alpha was my mate. He quickly nodded his head. My mate dropped him and turned to me, his eyes soften. He comes over to me and puts his face on my neck, smelling my scent, making me relax.

"What's your name beautiful?" He asks me. I giggle as he breathes against my neck.

"A-Ashley," I answer my voice failing me. " May I know the name of my mate?" I ask.

" Adrian, love." He answers. My wolf is going crazy right now. Adrian pulls back and sniffs again and growls his eyes turning a darker shade of brown. I look at him confused.

" Why do you smell like Sean?" He asks looking like he's gonna kill someone. My eyes widen.

" I-uh-he-uh he tackled me." I lied. I'm a terrible liar. I couldn't lie even if my life depended on it.

" Don't lie, love." He said. His voice is scary and calm. He grabbed my chin bringing my eyes to his. I know I won't win so I might as well tell him the truth, but he is not going to like it.

I shut my eyes and whispered. " Sean and I kissed," I answered shutting my eyes tighter thinking of my mom I put my arms around my stomach thinking of the man that kicked me when I was 10. Thinking it was gonna happen again I slid down the wall and said. " Don't kick me again."

I felt arms wrap around me and I flinched but when I felt the sparks and they brought me back to the present. I look up and see Adrian looking at me with sadness and concern. I break down knowing that I'm broken and he'll most likely reject me. The thought of being rejected just made me sob harder.

" Shh it's ok I got you, I won't let anyone hurt you. I'll protect you I promise." He said but I knew that if I stay the Vampire Queen will track me here and hurt these people and Adrian so I needed to leave as soon as possible. If I'm the Luna I do what's best for my people. So I will leave tonight. I felt my eyes get heavy so I closed them and ended up falling asleep.

My eyes flutter open and I find myself in a bed. I look up to see an alarm clock that read 2:12 am. Great just great timing Ash I try to get up only to find an arm around my waist. I groaned and got an idea. I tickled his nose which made him release his grip on my waist and scratch his nose. I quickly took the pillow I was sleeping on and replaced me with it. I watched as Adrian snuggled into the pillow thinking it was me. I mentally awwed at the sight but quickly found a piece of paper and a pen and wrote a note for Adrian explaining why I left. I went to the window and opened it up, looking down to see that we were 3 stories up. I swing both of my legs out getting goosebumps because of the cold night air. I looked back to see Adrian still sleeping, I turned around and jumped. When my feet met the ground a pain went up my left ankle making me whimper.

I started to walk away from the pack house feeling my wolf whimper, wanting to go back to our mate but we both knew that we couldn't.

" Please let's go back please he can protect us." Trish tried to reason with me but I already made up my mind.

" We are not putting other people's lives on the line because of us. I would feel so guilty breaking people's families apart. And I will not put Adrian in that position." I said.

" Well well well what do we have here boys." I jumped when I heard an unknown voice. I turned around to be met with 5 rouges growling at me which made me growl back. Time to put my powers to use. Oh and by the way I'm the 2nd most powerful witch. The leader of the group smirked at me which brought back memories of the vampire king when he killed my parents. The thought of him made my blood boil. I glared at him.

" Get her boys." The man said and all 4 rouges came at me at once and I smirked this time. I raised my hand to a tree and snapped my fingers and the tree fell on 2 rouges heads killing them. The other 2 looked at me with wide eyes. I broke a branch off the tree and struck it into the heart of one of the rouges with my telekinesis and grabbed the other by the throat and drained the life out of him. The leader looked scared senseless and turned around to run but I lifted my hand and he ran into an invisible force field. He turned around and glared at me. I then reached to his chest and turned my hand into a fist slowly listening while he screamed in agony. If you don't know what I'm doing I'm crushing his heart. I dropped his lifeless body to the ground. I kept walking acting as if nothing happened but I felt powerful but drained and tired I sat down by a long and ended up falling asleep.....again.
