Chapter 14- The War Is Far From Over

"Hey dad!" I called, transforming as I drove into the hangar.
"Hello Lexie, how are the boy and Bumblebee doing?" He asked.
"Good. I'm just glad I don't have to keep up the act with the Witwickys. They are amazing people, but thank the primes I'm not related to them, they are annoying," I stated, "did you manage to get it? Did they give it back?"
"Of course I did, Sky was wearing his collar around his ankle, it wouldn't fit a wolf but it was still in one piece. Our friends helped as well," he replied, pointing at Lennox and Epps, before handing me Sky's collar.
"Thank you guys so much!" I smiled, holding it close as they nodded.
"One other thing, this was found with Jazz," he held out a small, advanced storage device.
"What is it?" I asked taking it from him.
"We believe he made it for you. Jazz was always excited for a little sister, and he worked on this back before the war on Cybertron, for your birthday. I remember how happy he was when he found out we were coming and he could finally give it to you." Optimus went quiet and the room felt silent.
"I guess he never got the chance, I will cherish it." I said the last part looking up to the sky.
"He's here dad, he has to be, I feel him with me every second, him and Sky."

"Hey little lady!" I turned as Ratchet walked in.
"Hi, any progress?" I asked. Ratchet had been working on making a new voice box for Bee.
"Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to happen, not unless we could salvage something from Cybertron, but I highly doubt we will do that." Ratchet stated.
"Come on, you can't joke about these things. I may never have known my home but you guys did, if Earth was destroyed I don't know what I'd do." I said. Ratchet nodded and left.
"Hey Ironhide!" I shouted as he turned to leave as well.
"What's up?" He questioned, turning to me.
"Have you made it yet?" I asked, and he shook his head.
"I have never made a bow, I may be a weapons specialist, but I prefer cannons." He complained, showing off his favourites.
"Okay, I get it, just let me know as soon as it's done."
"Will do, bye kid," he left to go to his section of the hangar, and I walked back to Optimus.

"So, what's the recent? Any activity?" I questioned, he shook his head.
"A little, but not much. There have been a couple of attacks prevented, but something is being plotted, they are out there and.." He stopped mid sentence as a loud crash came from Ratchets area.
"Ow shit, not again." I groaned, rubbing my arm where I could only imagine Ratchet hurt himself. Optimus gave me a weird look, "what's wrong?" He asked. I shook my head and stopped rubbing my arm.
"Nothings wrong, why would something be wrong? Is something wrong with you?" I responded, panicking slightly. Then Ratchet walked over.
"Ok, who left the spare armour plates right where my arm would swing and hit them?" He questioned, pointing at his scratched arm, threatening the breaking of his armour, the exact place I was rubbing. "I don't know, ow, crap." I didn't mean to say ow, but it slipped out and I couldn't stop the pain.
"Lexie what is going on with you? I order you as your leader to tell me, and ask as a father." Optimus snapped, and I knew I couldn't ignore it any longer.

"I never told anyone, but before the AllSpark was destroyed, I didn't touch it but got close to it. It sparked and connected to me. Ever since then I have felt links, to all of you. I feel your pain, your emotions...your life forces. But thing is, I felt Jazz's pain, yet he is still here, connected to me." I added the last bit holding back tears.
"Why didn't you tell me? Did Bumblebee know?" He asked, and I nodded. I had told him the day after the battle. "There's another thing, it's strongest with you and Bee. I can feel your life force stronger than any. I can feel the Primes with me." I added.
"I would like to talk to Bumblebee and you in private. Go to him and bring him here." Optimus ordered. I nodded, and transformed driving off. "By Lex!" Various soldiers called, one being Lennox. I looked back using my mirror to see him attempting to control the twins, they were 2 of the new autobots that had recently arrived.

Personally, I was glad. Three of them were the arcee twins, don't ask why they aren't triplets as there are three, because I have no idea why, but it was nice to have some girls on the team, even if they are tiny.
