I awoke to a sunny day, with quite a few clouds. Sky was sound asleep with his head rested lightly on my legs, so I slipped them out from underneath and swapped them with a small pillow I had brought with me. I walked over to the water and had a drink, wiping my face as  I did so, that's when I heard the familiar steps of Sky walking up behind me. "Sorry if I woke you," I was the first to speak, turning to face him. "It's okay, so what are we doing today?" He asked, taking his own drink from the lake. "Well I'm going to look for a pink rose with purple tipped petals, they were her favourite flower, but extremely rare." I explained.
"I can help, I could scan the woods?" He suggested, I nodded and turned to face him. "Do you happen to be able to hunt?" I asked, after all he had guns didn't he? "Yes, would you like some food catching Lex?" He asked. I laughed, that's me, Lex Smi...Prime, whatever. "Yes, but get yourself something as well, you will not starve on my watch." I stated, and he nodded before turning to the trees.

I sat down and pulled my bag closer to me, once I had unzipped it I took out the box with my necklace in it and watched as I pressed the lid and the robot appeared. Once again, I listened to the message, my fingers falling through the hologram as I stared at the robotic form. "I can't wait until I know what all this is about," I sighed, taking the necklace and holding it in my hand. Then I put it back and pulled out my sketch book, I started to draw the waterfall and drew 2 girls with a dog, just like my birthday. I suddenly heard a loud crash behind me, I turned and it found out a tree had fallen over, instantly setting me on edge. "Hello?" I called out, but I wasn't answered. What scared me the most was that I could have sworn there were two robotic eyes staring at me, before they disappeared into the darkness. A tree doesn't just fall, something has to make it fall. That's when there was more shaking in the forest, I waited but it was just Sky, he had 3 birds. "I will start a fire, good job, Sky." I praised, unfazed as I reached out, taking the birds and de-feathering them.

A few minuets later I had a small cooking set up, made of wood and rocks, and after another 20 minutes, the food was ready. Sky came over and said a quick 'thanks', before walking over towards the edge of the water to eat. I followed him and sat with my feet in the water. "Hey, you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, but I do have a question. Did you hear or see anything, or someone?" He looked at me with worried eyes. I thought back to the tree incident, and shrugged. "That tree over there fell, and when I looked to see what happen there were 2 red eyes, but then they disappeared." I informed, he eyes grew wide, before he blinked and looked back out at the water. "Lexie, today when we look for the rose, stay close, promise me." He spoke up. I tensed, dropping my food. "Why? Sky, what's going on?" I  questioned, but he turned away. That's when I realised he had grown in a matter of seconds, now he was as tall as me when we sat next to each other. "I can't say, but you have to promise, it's for your own safety." He pleaded, I thought for a moment, could it have been a robot like the hologram from the necklace box? But that one had blue eyes... "Okay, I promise." I finally nodded, stroking him on the head. He gave me a small wolf grin, and I turned to clean up.

I packed my backpack and put out the fire, then I walked over to Sky, "you ready?" I asked. He nodded, standing up from his space, "Let's go." And with that we set off into the woods. As we walked we saw all the different animals, birds, squirrels, deer, rabbits and butterflies. "It's truly magical, isn't it?" I smiled, looking up as the sun shone through the trees. "Yes, hey why don't we check to the left, I have a feeling we might have some luck," he suggested.
"You used your scan, radar thingy didn't you" I said, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow at him. "Hey, what can I say? It's my job to serve and protect," he responded doing a wolf salute with his paw. I burst out laughing, and about an hour later, I gasped at the sight of a giant waterfall.

"Woah, are you sure we are going to find the rose this way?" I asked, but he was looking at something else, I followed his eyes but only saw darkness. "Sky....Sky!" I shouted, grabbing his attention, then I spotted a small opening behind the waterfall. "Sky, look over there." I said, pointing towards it. He walked ahead, and sure enough he disappeared behind the waterfall. "Lexie, you will want to see this," he called back to me, and I walked through.
